Summary: Did the opposite of what it was supposed to do! 2008-10-10
Comment: I bought this item based on the reviews here on Amazon.com from other HDTV users and after trying every possible antenna angle and every possible configuration it WEAKENED my signal strength by half! What a waste of money. I bought the Antenna Direct DB-2 and it works remarkably well especially considering it uses no power but I was hoping that this would boost the signal strength a bit as I consistently get between a 45 and 55 % signal. After hooking up this product, I could never get a reading any higher than 25%. Buyer beware! it may work fine for cable but don't buy this expecting it to increase your over-the-air HDTV signal. Invest in a good antenna instead!

Summary: My HD works now! 2008-10-09
Comment: This works great. I have this installed right where the cable 1st comes into the house. MY HD TV's are in a remote building on the property. So the cable runs through this then 2 splitters then at least a 100' cable run then another splitter then finally one to the TV and one to an HD box. I could not get the HD box to work before using this, now the HD is nice and sharp. And my other LCD is hooked right to the coax and the picture on that has greatly improved now. It even came with everthing needed to install it.
This unit is bigger than I thought it would be. I expected something the size of a normal 1 to 2 splitter. This was more like 5 or 6 of those in size but no big deal.

Summary: Not working 2008-10-07
Comment: Well, I got this booster about a week ago. I tried to install it in several locations inside and outside the house and it didn't give me any better signal.

Summary: Motorola Signal Booster 2008-10-06
Comment: Great for boosting incoming signal.
However I was under the impresison this would allow signal back through for things like On-Demand or 2 way communication needed for a cable modem. This was not the case.
Neather Cable Modem or On-Demand would work through this booster.

Summary: Did not work with roof antenna 2008-10-06
Comment: This product may work well for some people in some situations, but it did not work at all with my cable TV service transmitted to my rooftop antenna in Barbados - I got 0% improvement in signal strength. However, a tiny cheapo signal booster from the cable company did the trick in the end...kinda makes you go hmmmm.
