Summary: nipple collasped over time and poor latch 2008-08-13
Comment: At first I was really impressed w/ the design. I believed this was the closest my son could get to breastfeeding while I was away at work. Then I started noticing how the nipple would collapse & cave in until it finally tore in 2 months time. Since the nipple was too long, my son could not really get a good latch, the bottle would bounce off his chin and often milk would dribble down his chin. Plus it always leaked from the nipple when pouring milk in. I just expected better from a $12 bottle.

Summary: The Only bottle my baby took 2008-07-28
Comment: The noted complaints of this bottle are true, as soon as you are ready to feed you baby turn it over otherwise it will leak. BUT - after many bottles, Dr. Brown, Playtex, Born Free, this was the first and ONLY bottle my 3 month old would take. So is it perfect - nope, but if your baby refuses to take a bottle you should definitely give this one a try. Note - I also opened up the holes on the nipple more for easier feeding.

Summary: Its hole does not cover 2008-07-16
Comment: I really liked the Adiri bottles when I first saw them as they were different from other babies stuff which I often find untasteful. I like them even when I use them now but have a small problem with them - there is virtually no way how to cover the hole when pouring the milk or tea in it. You have to turn the bottle upside down to do it which means it starts dropping out of the 'pacifier'. Even when you put the cover on, it drops into it so next time you want to use it and open it, there is liquid inside. Any ideas how to eliminate this other then use my finger on top of the 'pacifier'?

Summary: sadly didn't work for my baby 2008-07-07
Comment: We were looking for bottles my husband could use to feed our daughter with my expressed breast milk when I went back to work - I was worried about nipple confusion and thought these would help avoid that issue. These bottles seemed perfect to me, but my newborn couldn't use them. She did try, but she couldn't get very good suction. The rubber wasn't soft enough or the right shape for her. We then tried bornfree bottles and so far, so good. She seems to like them, and she doesn't seem to have too many problems going back and forth between the breast and the bottle. We did experience some of the leaking issues with Adiri when filling the bottles, but not too much was lost. It actually worked out for us that the baby like Bornfree better -- they are a little cheaper than the Adiri when purchased in multi-bottle packs. I strongly suggest you just buy one of these more expensive bottles until you are sure your baby likes them/can use them.

Summary: Daughter still won't drink... 2008-06-29
Comment: The ingenuity of this product is great. I had no problems with leaking. I was a little surprised at how firm the plastic is that the nipple is formed out of. I thought it would be a lot softer. It is harder than regular bottle nipples and way harder than the breast. I think that my 3mo old would be a little more fooled if it was just a little softer... But either way, my daughter just loves her milk to come from mommy. She won't even swallow the milk that comes out of other bottles and with the Adiri Natural Nurser, she'll at least drink about 1/2-1 ounce. She is just a girl who knows what she wants! Hopefully it will work better for others!
