Summary: Wish we'd done more research 2008-07-20
Comment: We've used this stroller (In a different color, with matching carseat) for 4 months now. I'll never buy 'Baby Trend' brand again.
Cons:
Heavy; cumbersome to fold/unfold (takes both hands & a foot); bulky when folded; latch that keeps it folded is flimsy & designed improperly (the stroller can fold much tighter than the latch will allow); tires don't hold air; canopy doesn't pivot fully forward (a problem when the sun is in baby's eyes); and saving the worst for last - the swivel front wheel shakes on demand when you're trying to push in a straight line, so you have to stop completely & start again, hoping it doesn't shake. The only way around this is to lock the front wheel in place, but then you have to tilt back to turn, which causes baby's head to flop forward when using the carseat.
Pros:
Seems to ride smoothly. Looks cool.
Do yourself & your baby a favor - buy something else.

Summary: Expected more. 2008-06-12
Comment: 9 months after occasional usage, the clip broke while I was trying to buckle my son in. The company won't do anything for me since it's past the 180 days so I'm SOL. Not happy! And also, the front wheel must be locked straight to jog or rollerblade with it, otherwise, it spins around and stops completely. spend the money and get something nicer!

Summary: Front Fork Bent! 2008-03-23
Comment: I was really excited to get this stroller. Great price, good reviews. I would have been happy if this stroller lasted me 6 months to a year. Sorry to say that the stroller broke my very first time jogging with the stroller (I walked with it for about 1 week before jogging with it). I read the reviews about the front wheel falling off- and the comments people wrote in response, so I made sure that my wheel was installed correctly and tightened. Even after double checking the front wheel, about 2 blocks into my run, the front fork bent and the front wheel fell off. I tried but couldn't bend the fork back and reattach the wheel so I had to wheel my 9 month old daughter home on the back wheels. Thank goodness she didn't fall out!
When I spoke to Baby Trend Customer Service, they were horrible. They were unwilling to do anything for me other than provide me with a new fork- which they told me would ship in 2 weeks due to something happening at their warehouse. I tried to explain that I no longer trust their brand for my baby and would like a refund- they wouldn't do it- or anything else to help. The company I purchased it from via the Amazon website were ok- but they are still charging my a 10% restocking fee and I have to pay the shipping and I can't return it until I get the front fork. I have very disappointed. I wouldn't use a Baby Trend jogging stroller again for jogging. I thought a big company would take care of me if God- for bid something like this happened to one of their items but judging from my recent experience with them- I don't think they care as much as they should- seeing they're selling items for babies.
