Summary: Maybe a great product for someone else? 2008-07-10
Comment: I really want this pillow to work for me. But after a week of letting it air out so that I could be in the same room as it, despite the strong 'new' smell, and two nights of discomfort, I have to admit that this pillow is a bust. Perhaps 5'1" isn't tall enough for the pillow to fit me correctly? Maybe I'm too sensitive? Either way, the zipper around the 'neck' part of the pillow pressed into my neck in such a way that I was never able to get comfortable. This will be going into the garage sale.

Summary: Overall good pillow for pregnancy 2008-05-17
Comment: I like this pregnancy pillow better than any other I've seen or read reviews on. It has been great for me, and I recommend it.
Pros:
- Soft and comfortable
- Good belly and back support; it works laying on either side even though it's not symmetrical
- Only takes up half of a queen size bed, whereas some other pregnancy pillows take up the entire bed
Cons:
- I'm 5'7" and if I were any taller, it would be too short for me. Would be nice if it came in two sizes.
- The bottom loop/hook shaped part could stand to have more padding, for better support between knees, but it does the job.

Summary: Comfortable, lots of options 2008-05-06
Comment: This is working well for me in my pregnancy. We have a queen bed, and the size of this pillow gives my husband enough room. You can flip it to either side and to either end which gives you lots of options. I'm tall and couldn't do the pose the model is doing, but I have found other positions that work just fine. I am a back sleeper and hate sleeping on my side, but this pillow allows me to be comfortable. Some people complained about the zipper, but I haven't found this to be a problem. Maybe if you sleep naked you would feel it more? Tips: I position it so that my knees and ankles are supported, my head is resting on the top of it, the long part runs along my back, and I wedge the curly part under my belly. If you're really struggling with sleep, try pushing away the covers and use this pillow with just a blanket thrown over you. When I was tossing and turning a lot the blankets made me feel constricted. I arrange myself so that I sleep most of the night on my left side, which they recommend. But in the early morning I flip to the other side without rearranging the pillow and it is fine. Good luck!

Summary: Best choice from researched options 2008-03-11
Comment: I researched ALL of the pillows available from Amazon, and found this one to be the best choice. Innovative design (with zippered insert that can be used with a baby), quality thick cover, long length. I originally bought a Snoogle from a baby store, opened it, saw that it did not come with a cover (it is just a bare pillow; a cover would have to be purchased separately), and put it back in its packaging and returned it.
This pillow is not like others that take up half of your bed, and it is long enough (I'm 5'10") for me to have part of it under my regular pillow for elevation, the majority at my back, some between my knees, and the tail supporting my stomach. If I lie on it properly (and don't move around too much), I do not wake up with sharp backaches that had plagued me.
The cover is soft and thick, so some people may find it a little warm. I put two pillowcases on each end, just to protect it a bit and provide some cooling. Once you give birth, you can zip the insert into the pillow and get more uses out of it, which is not possible with the other pillows. Plus this pillow coils up pretty compactly, and storing it in the plastic zip bag it came in does not take up as much room as other pillows.
Shipping: I ordered this with regular shipping Feb. 11 (free Super Saver Shipping was not available at the time), it shipped the next day, and arrived Feb. 15. An extremely fast turn-around, considering it shipped half-way across the country and the estimated arrival date was Feb. 25.

Summary: My Wife Loves This Pillow Whether Pregnant Or Not! 2008-02-11
Comment: I bought this brand of the "pregnancy pillow" because it seemed to allow the most flexibility in shape. My wife tells me that she would give this item 5 stars primarily because it is flexible, firm but soft. She has no complaints and sleeps better with this than without.
ADDENDUM: It's now been 7 weeks after my wife has given birth to our son, and my wife still prefers this pillow to our Tempurpedic $200 pillow! In fact, I actually have stolen it from her and find that it's pretty comfortable for anybody, pregnant or not!
