Summary: Baby loves it! 2008-03-10
Comment: We bought the positioner because our 1 week old has some congestion and our pediatrician recommended we keep her elevated. The baby sleeps very soundly in the positioner and its very portable so we can place her in it in the lounge rather then leave her in the crib. We were contemplating getting a second portable crib but this fits the bill nicely. We havent had problems with the head rest as reported in other reviews.

Summary: Incline does not stay up! Possibly dangerous! 2008-01-26
Comment:
I bought this today, excited that it looked comfy and about the heartbeat feature. It looks like it would be comfortable and would hold a very small newborn in place, however, it's WAY TOO SMALL for my 11 week old (11 lbs and 22in with short legs). Her legs dangled uncomfortably off the edge (not like in the picture). This product is supposed to be useful up to 6 months of age or until the baby can roll over on their own.

The main reason I wanted this positioner was for the incline feature however - INCLINE DOES NOT STAY UP with any amount of weight on it.

The sides adjusted and stayed in place just fine so I had hoped the incline would be the same, but I was mistaken. It's not even the same structural material as the sides and wouldn't you think the head incline would be the stronger of the two considering most of a baby's weight is in their head???

VERY DISAPPOINTED, especially since it is pretty expensive compared to other sleep positioners which is why I got it in the first place thinking it would work.

I think the heartbeat feature is wonderful and I'm wondering if it would have worked for my daughter that loves to sleep on my chest and hear my own heartbeat. But I'll never find out since the darn thing is a joke.

The bottom is also curved so it doesn't sit flat - it teeters from side to side, therefore I'm calling it POSSIBLY DANGEROUS. I read other reviews that stated their baby tipped it over (mind you these are babies that are NOT able to roll over on their own yet) and they were face down with the positioner still on their backs!!

Not willing to risk that with my daughter!

Save your time and money, and find a different one with better reviews.

Summary: Comforting 2008-01-07
Comment: I bought this for my 6 week old (at the time) because she needed someting to elevate her slightly and keep her feeling more secure in the crib. As soon as we started using this positioner, her restless nights of sleep came to an end. She is almost 4 months old now and still using it. I know at some point really soon she will be big enough to roll herself off of this, and then we will have to get rid of it. I am not overly concerned about it, because her crib is right next to my bed and I can hear every little peep she makes. However, if she was sleeping in her own room away from me, I probably wouldn't be comfortable leaving her in this positioner. For us, so far so good, no problems with rolling off and she sleeps really really well.

In my opinion, the heartbeat/vibration feature is a waste of money. I tried it only a couple of times and it kept my daughter awake, so obviously I haven't used it again. I wish I could have gotten the same positioner without that feature and saved some money. After all, this is one of the priciest positioners out there. Overall, since it helped my daughter sleep more comfortably, it was worth the money.

Comment: We purchased this for our baby girl when she was 2 weeks old and wow, what a dissapointment. As soon as we would lay her on it, it would immediately lay flat. It is also very easy for a baby to roll out of, at any age. Just simple flailing around, that all little babies do, was enough for it to tip from side to side and her to slip down to the bottom of it. I did not feel safe using this at all. Also, if you have a baby with severe GERD, like we do, this DOES NOT elevate enough to control the problem. How they can claim it aids in digestion, I will never know. We purchased the Tucker wedge/sling and she is sleeping like a baby should. Don't waste your time with this positioner.

Summary: EVERY BABY IS DIFFERENT! 2007-08-18
Comment: I used this for my third child, and loved it. Unfortunately, it was only used for 2 weeks, but those two weeks were excellent. Now I roll up blankets and put her in there. I did the same for my other two children and they loved it also. Babies are used to feeling close because thats all they've known. This product was awesome!
