Summary: Great product 2008-04-29
Comment: I have been using this since I my 2nd month of pregnancy. It has a very pleasant, light scent that is perfect for pregnancy, even when I had morning sickness. Its very moisturizing, and completely gets rid of my itchy tummy symptoms. I especially like all the natural ingrediants in it.

Summary: Doesn't Work for me 2008-03-02
Comment: I bought this product a few months ago and have been using it atleast 2 to 3 times a day. My belly is soooo itchy that I'm online right now looking for something else to buy. The tummy butter says anti-itch on it but my belly is itchy! It looks like it will moisturize your skin because it goes on thick and greasy but it doesn't even last a few hours. The smell and greasiness does not bother me - I just wanted it to work. I am 7.5 months along now and the itch has gotten progressively worse. I bought it because I am trying to use all natural products and was willing to spend more money. Now I see that it was not worth it since it didn't work for me.

Summary: Must-Have For Pregnant Bellies 2008-02-10
Comment: I started using this product early in my pregnancy to prevent stretch marks. I was skeptical at first, because it was greasier than I expected. I kept using it, but only at night because I didn't want my clothes to get greasy during the day. I am now 7.5 months pregnant and still slather it on my belly and hips every night, and I don't have one stretch mark to speak of! I don't know if it's genetics or this product, but I'm a believer. Plus I don't have itchy skin like many pregnant women complain about. Hopefully the current jar will get me through all 9 months!

Summary: First-time mom-to-be 2007-12-15
Comment: If your belly or skin gets rashes when it's oily or overheat with clothes covered, I wouldn not recommend this product. This product, as it mentioned on the lable, would not absorb, so it stayed oily and sticky on my belly. After covered by clothes for a day or two, my belly broke out reashes all over.

It smells good though.

Summary: Amazing Stuff. Absolute Maternity Necessity. 2007-08-22
Comment: I discovered this shortly after learning I was pregnant. Bath and Body Works at our mall was consistently out of their cocoa butter stretch mark cream a friend had reccommended. So I was desperate to find a good affordable stretch mark preventative, because my sister developed the worst stretch marks I've ever seen during her pregnancy, and my mom has quite a lot of them too. I also have some leftover from puberty. I found this stuff online and it was very well reviewed and even used by some celebrities, so I decided to give it a go. I also liked the fact that it is all natural, sustainable, and contained all the ingredients I'd ever heard of using for stretch mark prevention.

I used it every day during my pregnancy (starting at about 12 weeks), after showering and before bed until 3 weeks before my due date, and did not get a single mark. The ones on my hips from my teen years pretty much disappeared, too. And, in addition, I never had the slightest itchiness that most of my pregnant friends have complained about (another reviewer said it made her itch, so I can only conclude she must be allergic to one of the ingredients). Then I ran out. The store where I've been buying it locally was out of it too. Since I was already so huge, and hadn't gotten any stretch marks, I decided to buy some of the Tummy Honey Cream, which they still had in stock. I immediately noticed my skin was kind of itchy and got worse as it dried out and the day wore on. Then, about a week after I stopped using the Tummy Honey Butter, I got a stretch mark. It is not a really dreadful dark red or purple one, but there it is, in all its pinkish brown unsightliness. So of course I went back to the store to see if they had any of the butter yet, if not to fix my new stretch mark, then at least to soothe this infernal itchiness.

They don't. Which is why I've turned to Amazon to find some, quick! Even if my due date is now only 4 days away, I suspect it will help, and may also fade the little stretch marks starting to show up on my breasts. This stuff is mandatory. I think I'll buy a case next time I find out I'm pregnant, so I don't run out. If I have extra, it'll make a nice baby shower gift for someone.
