Comment: As a first time mom, I research EVERYTHING I buy for my daughter online before I buy it to make sure it is the most effective and safe product. When my daughter started pulling up on her crib and biting on it, I was worried about her ingesting wood/paint chips and ruining her convertible crib, which is supposed to last for a long time. I began researching solutions for this problem not realizing I would find so many options. The bite-me bumper was the only thing I found that provided the safety I was looking for, looked great, was removable, would not ruin my crib, would fit the larger rails of a convertible crib, and was reasonably priced. It works beautifully! It stays in place and she is unable to get it loose. It has a thick padding to keep her head and her mouth safe from injury and it brightens up her purple-walled room. It would be even more wonderful if they came in a shorter length, still to fit a convertible crib, but for the wider side rails. I would 100% recommend this product to anyone that has a convertible crib and a child who likes to chew on it.:-)

Summary: LOVE this bumper! 2008-04-03
Comment: The Bite Me Bumper is a fabulous product and is exactly what I was looking for. When my 7 month old daughter began pulling herself up to standing in her crib and immediately started gnawing on her beautiful crib. The plastic bumpers or gummy adhesive ones just weren't going to cut it for us, so after researching extensively I found and ordered the Bite Me Bumper in Baby Pink. I received the item in a few days, even though Amazon listed it as not being able to be shipped for about a month. I ordered 2 bumpers and wrapped them around the sides and front of the crib. There are still about 4 inches of exposed wood on each side of the crib in the back, but my daughter rarely stands back in the corners so this has not been a problem at all. I love that these are well padded, easy to install, washable, attractive and they protect my daughter and her crib. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone!

Comment: I looked at several other options and decided this was the best choice to try. The price was great so I figured if it didn't work out or I didn't like it, no problem. Alot of the other bumpers have adhesive on them and I didn't want to ruin my crib. (I have a cherry convertible - so it's going to be with us for a very long time!) My daughter was already making inroads on what will become her footboard with her one tiny tooth so I had to get something fast. This bumper is nice and soft, padded, and ties nice and tight and fits my crib great. We don't use the tabs for toys, but they're so inconspicuous it doesn't matter. LOVE IT! I would recommend it to anyone.

Comment: This is a great product. The only one of it's kind that fits my convertible crib w/larger rails. My daughter was literally gnawing on our new, and very expensive crib and this product solved the problem instantly. It also washes up very nicely. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Comment: I have to say that we just ADORE this product! I don't know what we would have done without it. For one thing, our crib would have bite marks all over the place if it weren't for the this bumper! (Our 8 month old is teething like crazy these days!) Also, I just want to say that I was specifically looking for a crib rail bumper that was TRULY padded, because our little guy is learning to stand...and I really want to protect that precious little noggin of his! He had already bumped his head a few times on his crib rail, and because of this product, that has completely stopped....it has made his crib so much safer, and it really gives us peace of mind! Folks...this is the only TRULY padded crib rail cover/bumper that you're gonna find out there that allows for safe teething on the crib rail AND protects your child's head from bumps at the same time!
