Summary: Great item 2008-03-27
Comment: I purchased this because my son favors the left side of his head. He sleeps in a swing so this fits perfectly in it. He's also moving his head to the other side a lot more. His head is not as flat as it used to be on his left side. I was skeptical when I first purchased this, but now I'm glad I got it.

Summary: Nothing less than a miracle! 2008-03-05
Comment: My son was born 7 weeks early and spent a LOT of time on his back in the hospital and in the basinet when he got home. He always turned his head to the left and around the second month I noticed a really severe flat spot on the left side of his head. I did some research on plagiocephaly and I was really worried that he was a severe enough case to have to wear a corrective helmet. I somehow stumbled across this product when looking at infant positioners and I was amazed at how many people said that this corrected their baby's flat spot. I had my doubts that a pillow could actually correct such a severe problem so I decided not to buy it that day. A month later his flat spot was much worse, it was so bad that it didnt look like you could even fit the other half of his brain in the left side of his head! I then decided to go ahead and try it. I was very diligent and used it everywhere. Within a month his flat spot was gone! This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. What a miracle! There are very few times when you can say a baby product changed your life but this one certainly has. (We were changing medical insurance at the time and couldn't afford to take our sone to the doctor between his 2nd and 4th month but you should always check with doctor to make sure a flat spot isn't caused by abnormal fusing of the skull).

Summary: This item is terrific.... 2008-02-28
Comment: I think that this has be really helpful w/helping our sons head to "fill out"... I noticed after about a month that all of the sleeping on his back and playing and sitting in his "toys" that he was noticeably flat at the back of his head... he also HATED any kind of tummy time... (i think a lot of children hate it when you don't introduce them to tummy time from the start and it's not stressed enough to new moms i dont think).... BUT... i've purchased two of these. One is at his sitters house (the first one we purchased, the denim fabri) and we use this minky one all the time at home.... when he's playing in his little excergymthingie and even in his swing. he's slept in it as well (and yes i'm aware they dont recommend that, but he's not rolling over yet & i'm supervising)... So I most certainly and wholeheartedly recommend this item... along w/starting them on tummy time RIGHT AWAY. I also prefer the minky fabric over the denim fabric... however either item is well worth it!
