Summary: My cup leaks : ( 2008-05-05
Comment: I had really high hopes for this cup, my son (19 months) has been using the gerber training cup and this IS an excellent cup, absolutely NO leaks, but it's not BPA free so I decided to try out the Born Free because the spout is very similar to the ones my son has been using. I was so disappointed. I got home after spending several hours on the road and my son was very thirsty so there was my big chance to try it, so I put water in it and decided to try it myself before giving it to him and at first it was kind of hard to drink from but with a little squeeze the fluid does come out, I gave it to my son and he had to suck really hard to get the water out of it so I figured he'll get used to it, I turned around and left him on the high chair and after I looked back 2 minutes later the whole tray was in a big puddle of water. The spout just leaks little drops one by one and doesn't stop. I am so sad because I thought this was going to be an excellent choice over the Thinkbaby cup, I'm just gonna have to try the other one. Maybe it's just my cup but I'm not going to spend another $11 on trying another one.

Summary: Fabulous cup if you know about the spout 2008-05-03
Comment: I purchased this cup for my then 9 month old son and at first it did leak all over the place. I then switched out the spout for a 6+ month spout and suddenly the leaking completely stopped. If you use the hard spout that comes with the cup, you will have mega leaking like another reviewer stated. If you buy the soft spout, however, you will have absolutely no problems at all with this cup. Definitely a must have for any toddler. My 13 month old cannot live without this cup.

Summary: Training Cup is Excellent! 2008-04-29
Comment: I have been using the training cup since my son was 7 months (he's now 10 months). He loves it. We tried advent and playskool and he either couldn't get any milk out or it went everywhere. He has been able to feed himself from this cup for about a month. We have four now and will be purchasing more. They have been worth the extra money becuase he can feed himself with it. His regular bottles are to heavy to pick up. He has thrown it everywhere and it may drip a little but, does not leak all over the place. The drinking cup is designed to not be a sippy cup and I agree with other reviewers that people may be confusing them.

Summary: Great Cup! - NO Leaks!! 2008-04-23
Comment: This cup DOES NOT leak, even if you tip it upside-down! After 3 children & many a leaky sippy cup, this is the first cup that is easy for a baby to use (the liquid flows easily; no plugs or valves) that does not leak. My only complaint with this, as well as with the other Born Free products, is that there are so many parts. It makes washing a bit of a hassle.

Summary: Great! (Be sure you have a dishwasher though) 2008-04-22
Comment: This is a great cup. Our daughter is learning to use it and likes it. No leaking. It is a pain to wash without a dishwasher though - because of all the pieces. But I feel good about using a "born free" trainer cup. She may move to the born free drinking cup soon.
