Summary: Consider a booster seat instead 2008-07-13
Comment: We have an informal butcher block dining table and we bought this for our then 6 month old to be a part of the family table. The pros of this seat are that it is compact and portable. But the cons were that my daughter easily slipped out of the belt and climbed out, and continues to do so. The belt comes up between the legs and from behind her back (under her arms) and no matter how tight we made it, she tucked her legs in under her and slowly stood up, slipping straight up out of the belt. Also, if you are looking for something mainly to use at home, it would make more sense to get one of the solid boosters with a back, harness, and optional tray. That is what we have for our 2 year old and what we are getting for our youngest now too. It shows food stains and is a pain to dissamble and wash on a biweekly basis. Also, the arms that extend on the table make it so that there is not a large area to place a plate and a cup. Finally, there is about a one-inch gap between the front of the bucket seat and the table, and it is too tempting for the baby to push food down that "slot" - so big messes created below the seat. This is not the right choice for home use and is not as good as the fold and go seats for restaurant use. Good luck in your search!

Summary: Fantastic Find 2008-06-24
Comment: We didn't want a bulky high chair to take up space in our house. We also have a counter height table. Our son LOVES to sit in this chair to be at the table with us. He's been in the chair since he was able to sit up well (6mo). In the beginning, it was a little big for him so we just put a towel behind him. He's now 10.5 mo and still loves it.
Pros: * Easy to wipe down or take off to throw in washer
*Portable to take to restaurants/friends' house/park picnic tables
*Has harness
* Easy to use
*Seems durable and sturdy so far.
*Affordable
Cons: *Doesn't fit will ALL tables. Make sure there isn't a ledge under table to prevent chair from hooking on. Thankfully we've never encountered any problems though.
Highly recommend this product!

Summary: Got rid of the high chair 2008-06-23
Comment: The chicco Caddy Hook on Chair isn't only fantastic when going to restaurants or traveling, but we use it solely at home now. The hook and padding that touches the table is covered in rubber therefore doesn't scratch the wooden table. I like the fact that our baby is right at the table with us while we are eating, not submersed in some huge high-chair with it's own table that also make it hard to place the baby right at the table with us. I do recommend a plastic place mat.

Summary: Didn't fit our table 2008-05-03
Comment: This chair didn't fit our table. It fit under the table skirt, but the bottom brackets extended too far and it the leaf mechanism of our table. We returned it (very easy and free to do!) and got Graco Travel Lite Table Chair Tango in the Tongo instead. The chicco one looks a little more sophisticated too, but the Graco one was the best for us.

Summary: Stays put, easy to take with you 2008-04-29
Comment: Hey, guess what? Babies are messy! If you have a problem undoing two snaps and throwing the cover in the washer, then maybe having a baby isn't for you. I'm from the school of thought that babies don't need to overtake your home with ten thousand different enormous plastic monstrosities, one for each activity. I am also not into sterilizing everything with lysol. I unsnap the cover in two seconds and throw it in the wash. How easy is that? This little chair can clamp to my kitchen island, the dining room table, restaurant tables... and it clamps down firmly. The first time I attached it, I tugged and tugged just to test it and I couldn't pull it off. My baby stays buckled in and likes having the entire table to see. Great product.
