Summary: FANTASTIC STOLLER!! 2008-08-25
Comment: I must say that I absolutely LOVE this stroller!! We first purchased a bulky graco travel system for our daughter thinking that would be perfect, but after time it was just obnoxious trying to lug that huge thing. This stroller is VERY lightweight, compact, durable, and nice to look at. THe safety bar in the front is perfect for stabilizing a dvd player for my daughter when we are out shopping for long periods of time. The basket in the back is not huge, but what are you expecting, this is just a very luxurious umbrella stroller. I love the carrying strap which was so handy getting on and off of buses and going uo stairs in Disney world. The recline is great for my daughter to take naps. We are expecting another child and almost as soon as we found out we were out looking for another combi and a carseat. This is by far the best stroller for the price...we liked it so much we purchased one for a family member already.

Summary: Combi Cosmo DX is okay 2008-06-07
Comment: We purchased this stroller for indoor use only. Our 8 month old has gained a lot of weight from having to take steroids...she's 26 lbs she is slightly delayed from a condition she is battling. So she has low muscle tone, not sitting up, etc. Long story short, we needed a stroller to push her around so she wasn't constantly on her back. The stroller was easy to put together. The right side wheels in the back are slightly turned in. Would have returned it but didn't notice it soon enough and box had already been thrown out. I like the height of handles and how narrow the stroller is. I think it is meant more for 1 yr olds and up. If it wasn't for the straps that go around her waist, my daughter would slide right out of the bottom. I'm constantly pulling her up into position. Be aware of how the seat lies back. A strap holds the seat upright and you loosen it to recline the seat. Getting it from recline position to upright with a baby that doesn't sit up very well on their own nearly impossible. Great stroller for toddlers. You're probably okay with a 9 month old and up but no younger.

Summary: Very Good stroller except for the CHEAP WHEELS! 2008-06-04
Comment: I bought this back in late January, 2008 and have had mixed results. Reading the other reviews, here are my thoughts after 5 months of use...

"My daughter is only 27 pounds and I have to use both hands to push otherwise I can't steer straight and run in to things/people,"
I have not encountered this problem at all. The stroller pushes easily. My son loves pushing it himself. My son turns 2 tomorrow, and can easily push his 60 pound sister when she climbs into the stroller. (Stroller is not meant to hold that much weight, so don't let heavier children do this!)

"have a hard time moving the stroller from a stopped position to maneuver around corners slowly (such as shopping in a mall store or getting on and off elevators)"
Yes, I have this problem - that's because the front wheels are damaged! That's my biggest complaint, the front wheels easily damage when folding this stroller. I have to replace the front wheels as we speak!

"and the bottom basket is completely useless."
There's about enough room to place your child's lightweight jacket in the basket - convenient when shopping, but the basket can't hold much else. And yes, it is very inconvenient to access.

"Also, I have the hardest time getting over cracks in sidewalks if the surface difference is more than an inch--the stroller comes to a whip-lash type stop and then I have to raise the front wheels over it"
Guess I'm just used to tilting strollers, but haven't had any problems with cracks in the sidewalk.
However, my stroller has had a few problems pushing as the cheap plastic wheel casings cracked, thus the wheeels wobble, rather than roll smoothly. I'm afraid the will completely break off soon, thus the need to replace the wheels. The wheels should last longer than 5 months of light use.

"Forget strollering on grass or anything uneven"
My soon to be 2 year old son has no problems pushing the stroller in the grass - that is until the front wheels cracked. Now it is a problem, hence the need to replaced the front wheels (both sides)

"Don't forget...no cup holder for mom--so try not to spill your coffee while struggling to push through the mall--and no snack tray for baby either."
I'm sorry, but anyone looking at the photo of the stroller or reading the description can easily see this. If the cup holder/snack tray are that important to you, then don't purchase this stroller!

"and you think you'll be carrying the stroller on your back with the tri-fold option"
VERY convenient for those who live in apartments and must carry the stroller up and down several flights of stairs on a daily basis. One word of caution. Unless you are about 6' tall, this stroller will bang on each step if carrying on your back, as you walk down stairs.

The full recline feature is GREAT!! My son can easily nap in the stroller while shopping, relaxing in the park, etc. Even put him in the stroller at night sometimes when he's fussy. Walk him around the apartment in the recline position and in a few minutes he's fast asleep.

Overall, I give it 3 stars. I would have rated it higher if the wheels were higher quality. The wheel casing should not have cracked so quickly.

Summary: Great Lightweight 2008-05-10
Comment: Love the extra space in our trunk--we have a cavalier compared to our big Graco or jogging stroller. Folds and unfolds easily. Wheel are a bit "sticky", but the more we use it the better they get. The basket is only useful for things you don't need a lot of access to, but important, small things can be put in the back pocket. I love that it can recline to almost flat. My daughter sleeps better that way.

Summary: Keep looking 2008-04-06
Comment: I bought this stroller when my daughter turned 1 because we were moving to a city (lots of walking and trains) and I thought I needed a smaller and more portable stroller (light weight, small when folded, and narrow.) After only 6 months I am getting another new stroller. My daughter is only 27 pounds and I have to use both hands to push otherwise I can't steer straight and run in to things/people, have a hard time moving the stroller from a stopped position to maneuver around corners slowly (such as shopping in a mall store or getting on and off elevators) and the bottom basket is completely useless. The basket has a bar going right through the middle so you have to shove your stuff under the bar to get it in the basket BEFORE baby is in the stroller because once seated you can't clear the bar (it barely fits a lunch box.) Plus, what I have managed to stuff in there has caused the mesh to rip because it rubs against the wheels. Also, I have the hardest time getting over cracks in sidewalks if the surface difference is more than an inch--the stroller comes to a whip-lash type stop and then I have to raise the front wheels over it. Forget strollering on grass or anything uneven. Also, I never used the "tri-fold" option because the stroller folds up flat enough for any size trunk. Don't forget...no cup holder for mom--so try not to spill your coffee while struggling to push through the mall--and no snack tray for baby either. I attached a cupholder for myself and the ride is so bumpy that my coffee always spills out. If you want a stroller for MINIMAL use, and you think you'll be carrying the stroller on your back with the tri-fold option, then go ahead. Otherwise it's a big pain. 12" wheels, cup holder, snack tray, and large basket here I come!
