Summary: Nice product, but didn't see much use in our house 2008-07-29
Comment: I have been impressed with the design, style and construction of all of the Combi products we have purchased. This was no different. It is much sturdier than some of the other big-name products on the market.
Setup: My mother in law took it upon herself to try to set it up the first time. She gave up without completing it. I ended up doing it myself when I got home and had no problems. We never had a need to fold it back up during our use. When I finally did fold it back up to sell it I found the task a little difficult. It took two of us to get it folded and back in the bag.
Use: This served primarily as our downstairs changing table. We never used the bassinet at all, although it was sturdy. The play yard itself was a failure with my daughter who refused to stay in it. It turned into an emergency "holding pen" for my wife when she absolutely had to leave the little one unattended briefly.
That's not a reflection on the product though, just on our needy daughter. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to someone else - even someone planning to travel with it. I think the folding and unfolding would become second nature after a few attempts.

Summary: Combi sport play yard... 2007-09-28
Comment: I know this is a product review...but let me start off by saying that Amazon's shipping is wonderful! I order this item on the 25th and got it on the 28th! And I picked the cheapest slowest (5-7 day) shipping!
Okay.
Now I gotta admit. I'm a huge fan of Combi products. I have a single stroller, a transitional high chair, now I have the play yard, and I'm about to purchase a Combi double stroller because I'm pregnant with #2 right now!
I bought this item in 'lawn' because it was on sale for $82 vs the normal $119. I didn't think I'd like the color too much at first. But, when I took it out of the box..I couldn't help but love it! It looks great!
It took a little bit of effort to put everything together. But, with a little common sense..it was done in a reasonable amount of time.
THe play yard itself (without the bassinet and changing pad) looks very nice and appears to be manufactured very well. It is pretty sturdy. I put my 17 month old toddler in it to test it out and it held up nicely. The mattress pad is very nice and firm..but not so much that it's uncomfortable. It also secures to the bottom with velcro.
When you put the changing table part on, it looks very nice. It is very secure and easy to use, plush and comfortable feeling, waterproof, has a safety strap, and the actual changing pad is removable so it can be cleaned. When you are done using it, you can just flip it over the side! How cool is that?
The bassinet is not as small as some had said on other reviews that I have read. It is a decent size. I can see using it up until 3 months or so with no problem. The toys that hang on the bassinet canopy are removable which is nice. The canopy is very large and made very well and stays in place. The mattress in the bassinet is plush but firm at the same time. The way they should be made. The only thing about the bassinet that I don't like is that there are metal bars under the fabric on the inside sides of it..and they would be uncomfortable if the baby rolled against them. But, that can be easily fixed by putting something over the bars before you snap the fabric over them.
The bassinet attaches to the play yard very nicely. It is very very secure. It zips to the side of the play yard and to the changing table. It also clips on the sides of the play yard. And has velcro straps. All of these things keep the bassinet very secure. I like that it removes and you can put it by your bed or with you in another room while baby sleeps.
The carry case is designed perfectly so that the wheels on the one side of the play yard (which have brakes on the too by the way) can be used even while it's packed up in the case. And the case has a side area for storing the changing station part.
It has side pockets too.
I haven't tested the light, vibration, or music features. But, even if they all suck, this play yard is still worth it! But, I imagine they will be just as good the rest of it. The only thing I can see posing a problem is if you put a toddler in there, they can reach and push all the buttons...so make sure you remove the batteries (which are accessed with a philips head screw driver).
All in all: VERY NICE.
I would recommend this item to anyone! I am very pleased.

Summary: Let down 2007-08-13
Comment: Other than the quick shipping I cannot recommend this item. It took me almost two hours to assemble the set since many of the components failed to lock and/or unlock smoothly. Having experience with this type of product, I would not expect such a long delay. The item is intended for travel, yeah right. A few of the directions were unclear. Additionally, the bassinet does not swing and the floor is not adjustable to different heights in this particular model--that was unclear in the description. Finally, what sense does it make to have the supply center attach at the opposite side of the crib as the changing table? I am seriously thinking of returning this product.
