Product Description
The Pregnancy Pillow Deluxe supports your stomach to get a good night's sleep while you are expectant. Sleeping on your side, with plenty of support for baby, allows maximum flow of oxygen and nutrients to the placenta and can help minimize swelling of ankles, hands, and feet. The wedge design provides a gentle cradling effect to promote maximum comfort. After your baby is born, you can use it as a support for baby when you're breastfeeding lying down.

This is baby's very first pillow--the one Mom needs in the third trimester, when "the bulge" has already taken up half the bed. It's a simple 12-by-11-inch wedge of foam, 4 inches thick at one end and tapering to nothing at the other. It has a medium blue cotton cover with a Velcro closure that makes it easy to remove for washing. The idea that it would make much of a nursing pillow is a little farfetched, though--not big enough and the wrong shape. --Richard Farr

Summary: Miracle Pillow 2008-05-01
Comment: I purchased this product late in my third trimester. It was so inexpensive and I was having so much trouble sleeping that I knew I didn't have anything to lose in trying it. I didn't think it would do much, but this little wedge has done WONDERS for me! I went from tossing and turning uncomfortably all night to sleeping soundly almost all night (except having to get up to pee!) I use it under my belly, which allows me to finally get comfortable on my side. I am a back/belly sleeper normally and could never figure out how to make side sleeping work. I also wedge it behind my back if I find myself rolling onto my back a lot--it keeps me from rolling over. This pillow has worked way better for me than putting pillows between my legs, and way better than a body pillow. Another reviewer mentioned that this helped her with pelvic pain, and it did the same for me! No more excruciating pains when I get out of bed, and much better throughout the day!
I can't recommend this product enough, and only wish I had purchased it sooner! Really, what do you have to lose at this price? It's worth a try.

Summary: simple but effective relief 2008-01-09
Comment: I was worried that this pillow might be too small to be helpful, but it is just right. I am 20 wks PG and have multiple medical conditions that cause pain, sleep disruption, etc. even when not PG. The pregnancy has exacerbated all of that, so I was desperate for a little relief. I always sleep in the middle of a "nest" of pillows anyway (different types..regular, memory foam, etc.), but nothing helped like this. It's not a magic bullet, but definitely worth the $$ for some relief.

Summary: Boppy wedge was much better 2007-06-27
Comment: For my first pregnancy I had the wedge made by "Boppy". It was a real life saver, and was so useful for before my daughter could sit up alone. I gave it away to a friend, and was forced to purchase a new belly wedge. I bought this one. I hate it. the material is ver rough, it doesn't follow the contour of my belly, nor does it stay in place. Spend your money elsewhere!

Summary: Good tummy support 2007-02-09
Comment: I like this pillow for my tummy. It arrived when I was 20 weeks pregnant (just in time since at 20 wks you have to stop sleeping on your back); however, as the tummy quickly expanded and I started rolling over at night, this pillow was not enough. I now use the large J shaped body pillow and am very happy with that because it provides the back support I need but I still use this wedge pillow for under my tummy. I would recommend this product.

Comment: I bought this for my partner who was not comfortable sleeping at night. I looked at many different options, but decided on this one. I felt "cheap" buying it because it was very inexpensive, but it worked great for her! She loves it!!
