No hands are needed to operate this gate. The Hands-Free Gate swings in both directions and is powered by a foot pedal that is simple for parents to operate, yet too difficult for children to use. An audible click assures you the gate is locked. Pressure-mounted, it won't mar walls or doorways. This coated-metal gate fits standard doorways 29 to 34 inches wide. With the Gate Extension Kit (sold separately), it can fit doorways up to 44 inches wide.
