Summary: consider a manufacturer gouge, not amazon! 2008-06-07
Comment: i challenge any of you to find these dr. brown's glass bottles any where else right now!! they are obsolete....i have looked everywhere! they are NOT available at any babiesrus that i have tried, or anywhere else. i'm guessing, for some reason, there is a problem with the manufacturing side of things...they haven't or aren't making enough of these bottles right now to fill demand. and if they are, then maybe it's dr. brown who is doing the price inflating? nonetheless, amazon should re-consider selling them on their site for the ridiculous price that they are from these few retailers that seem to still have some stock left! my suggestion is that we all *bombard* dr. brown for this issue and see what happens.

Comment: I love Dr. Brown glass bottles but this seller i noticed is trying to get some really big profit. They only sell these for 12.99 at Babies R us. Dr. Brown now also offers BPA free plastic ones which i think is much better

Summary: Amazon's price is outrageous 2008-05-17
Comment: I found these bottles this morning (May 17) on babiesrus.ca website for $16.99 - the same company, the same size, in the same 2-pack. Granted, the website says they are "temporarily unavailable online" but I'm going to the store today to see if I can buy them there. I was in stores yesterday and other brands were selling for $18.99 a 2-pack. Obviously consumers are being gouged with this pricing on Amazon and certain companies are taking advantage of worried parents and I'm very suprised that Amazon is a part of this.

Comment: On April 8th, I purchased this product from Amazon for $12.99 - now one month later Amazon is charging nearly $50! Unbelievable!! Amazon is taking advantage of the latest news regarding the harmful chemicals in plastic baby bottles and now that there is a high demand for glass bottles, they have decided to raise the price to nearly four times what it was a month ago. Shame on you! Shame on you!

Summary: Good stuff 2008-05-06
Comment: Mr. Brown bottles are great and now that they have the glass bottles versus the plastic after the bisphenol toxicity finds we were all over it. Some people aren't fans of the parts to this bottle, but they are easy to clean especially with a dishwasher and any dishwasher basket. Handy that they come with the narrow brush to clean the small parts, just try not to lose it!
