The Eddie Bauer Infant Car Seat is a rear positioning seat designed to accommodate children from 5-22 lbs. It has all the features that parents have come to know and love from Eddie Bauer infant products. It can be secured in place with the LATCH system or your car's belts. The two piece push button harness retainer is designed to help properly secure your child in the harness. The Eddie Bauer Infant Car Seat also boasts a contoured molded shell to help cradle baby and a multi position canopy to protect your little one from the damaging rays of the sun.

Extending their tradition of rugged, premium-quality workmanship, the Eddie Bauer infant car seat combines plush comfort and premium safety. The rear-facing car seat is for infants five to 22 pounds and 19 to 29 inches. It can use seat belts or the LATCH system (Lower Anchor Tethers for Children), and it uses the traditional two-piece chest clip and five-point harness to secure baby. The stay-in-car base has three reclining positions, and the one-handed seat release lifts from the base with ease. The deluxe canopy has multiple positions, and with the foot cover, baby is entirely protected against the elements. Summary: pleased as punch 2008-10-30
Comment: I LOVED IT!! My son is almost 10 months old now and ready to move on to a larger seat but i was totally impressed with this one. My only complaints...a little on the heavy side (but so was my son at 10lbs 23inches at birth) and i wish the handle was different so it was easier to carry. Other than that it was perfect. Very sturdy and didnt budge while strapped in the car. If you are looking for a very safe seat this is the one. I highly recommend it!

Comment: I was completely happy with my Eddie Bauer Infant Car Seat. I needed one because my new granddaughter was visiting from out of state. The car seat looked nearly brand new. It was easy to use and both the baby and her mother were pleased with it. With the base in the car, we used the car seat both in the house and for travel safety. Both baby and her mother were pleased with it. We plan to use it for this baby, and for more grandchildren in the future.

Summary: Beautiful and sturdy 2008-03-10
Comment: I haven't had the opportunity to put this car seat to the test yet (4 months to go) but I can say that I have not seen another seat that even comes close in terms of strength and style. There is one thing that prevents it from getting five stars and that's the fact that there's nothing to hook the back end of the hood to the body of the seat. So if for any reason you pull the hood too far forward, you pull out the back of the hood and have to fix it. Other than that, though, I am confident that I got great value for money and that my baby will be both safe and comfortable.

Comment: The straps are hard to adjust, the buckle in the front hits my baby in the thighs (ouch) and does not adjust. It feels loos in my car. Made VERY CHEAP. I baught because of the looks, bad decision!

Comment: My husband and I love our son's car seat. Very nice-looking car seat for the price! I have been having trouble getting the clasps open and closed, but my hubby can get it no problem. That is my only problem. Love it though!!!
