Summary: Very unsafe product 2008-07-13
Comment: I registered for this and received it as a shower gift. Foolishly I did not look for reviews of the product beforehand. I really give this no stars. As many others have pointed out, it is too small for normal sized shopping carts (Target, grocery store carts) and is a pain to put on, but that really is the least of its problems. It is designed so that you cannot use the belts on the shopping cart to secure your child. The only thing "securing" your child in the cart are the flimsy ties that hold the cover on the cart. I cut slits in the back so that I could belt my child in, but I hate this thing so much that even with this improvement, I don't use it.

Summary: Coverage isn't good 2008-06-19
Comment: Unfortunately, I'm here on Amazon looking for a new shopping cart cover because this one doesn't adequately do the job. The front doesn't fit the new carts with drink holders, and side coverage isn't adequate-- my daughter can touch and mouth the side of the cart, and can reach behind her and get to the rest of the cart with ease. Disappointing.

Summary: Great product 2008-01-13
Comment: This is a great product but do not order from Target if you live in a rural area. They send it UPS to USPS and it took almost 2 weeks. It was in my post office longer than it was on order. I could have had a friend buy it and send it much faster through USPS.

Summary: Poorly designed 2007-10-26
Comment: The concept of a shopping cart cover is a good one, keeping little hands and mouths from direct contact with germy shopping cart handles and seats. This particular cart cover leaves a lot to be desired.
The good: The padding on the portion that goes along the back part of the seat and over the handlebar is adequate; It is turns inside out to become its own storage bag; It has some small loopholes sewn into the padding on the handlebar so that toys can be attached.
The bad: The ties on the side and the general design of the back make it difficult to install on a cart one-handed; It will not fit over-sized carts; It has a safety harness, but as it attaches to the back of the seat with elastic, the feature is fairly useless--if my child were to attempt to stand up while strapped in, the cover would easily slip off the back, too. (The solution is very close adult supervision!)
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this for the simple fact that it lacks ease-of-use.
