Product Description
The Elegance Bassinet is the most charming and unique place for your newborn to sleep. Functional and stylish, the generously sized interior measures 32" in diameter and 8.5" deep. A graceful canopy shades the interior, and a storage shelf beneath the bassinet keeps supplies close at hand. Bassinet comes with a full bedding set, including a lovely pleated skirt, soft padded bumper, fitted sheet, height-adjustable drape canopy and custom-fitted vinyl mattress pad. All bedding is machine washable poly/cotton. Bumper attaches with grip tape and ribbon ties. Bassinet is designed for babies up to 20 pounds, or until your baby can push up on her own. It's made with wood and wood composites, has caster wheels, and is coated with white non-toxic finish. Overall unit measures 32"L x 32"W x 49"H; 31" from the rim to the floor. Some assembly required. Assemble bassinet in the room you intend to use it unless your doorways are wider than 33".

Summary: sheets for bassinet 2006-03-21
Comment: A TWO pack of white sheets to fit the round bassinet are available at Target or www.target.com for $24.99. You can also buy the sheets and add a little bit of fabric dye to easily change the color to match anything in baby's room. Good luck everyone!!!

Summary: A Beautiful, Sturdy Bassinet 2006-02-28
Comment: I am very pleased with this bassinet. We ordered the Toile--the proper name I think for the pattern is Sage Toile according to Badger Basket. I had no shipping problems (i.e., broken/ missing/wrong pieces). Assembly was easy.
PROS:
- Unique, round, sturdy design
- Convenient bottom shelf to hold diaper items (pack of diapers, container of wipes, rash cream and room for a bit more)
- Made of wood
- Easy to move around the room
- Beautiful bedding is included and is machine washable
- One can lift baby easily form it
CONS:
- Bassinet cannot fit through doorway
- Ribbons on bedding may get frayed in the washing machine if one doesn't fasten the Velcro loops for the bumper/curtain before washing
- Comes with only one(1) fitted sheet. You must order a pack of 2 from Badger Basket that only come in Pure White, so it won't match rest of bedding when one uses the separately ordered sheets
DETAILS TO CONSIDER:
-The Sage Toile bedding that I received is a cream background with a light/medium "regular-green" toile print. The toile depicts small children playing outdoors (swinging, fishing, see-sawing, climbing trees). It is very tasteful, subtle, and classic-looking.
-The fitted sheet is also cream -- no pattern.
-The bassinet wood itself is white.
-Mattress is thin, but sufficient, safe, and firm.

Summary: great concept ..... 2006-01-04
Comment: I loved the fact that the bassinet was round and therefore unqiue. I got it as a baby shower gift so i didn't hear of any assembly issues. My only complaint as someone else said the print is beige with green outlined children. the print is not as attractive in the picture. I eventually had to take the canopy piece off because it was awkward and collected dust. My baby stayed in it for 2 months before she had to go in her crib.

Comment: This basinett is so beautiful and just brings a sense of wonder to the room. It's so different, being round and all. Baby Anna is going to look absolutely beautiful in it. Easy to assemble, not to mention the expedient shipping.

Summary: not as cute as pictured 2005-09-24
Comment: I thought this was the cutest bassinet ever, but I read the bad reviews & decided I must see one in person before I buy it. I have to say I am not buying it. It just is not real sturdy and the matress is the really cheap one that comes with your changing table but no one uses. My husband said he could fix all of the problems but for this amount of money I think it should come ready to use. The screw holes are a major eyesore and the wood is flimsy.
