Summary: Worst Monitor EVER! 2008-06-18
Comment: HATE IT! We've had nothing but problems with this monitor from the first day. Occasionally it will work correctly but that's very rare (and even when it does work properly it does not pick up my daughter very well even though it's right next to her crib). On the days when it decides not to work all you can hear on the monitor is a HORRIBLE buzzing sound. Nothing make it go away. You can move the monitor all over the house and it still buzzes. When this buzzing occur you can't hear any noises that the actual baby makes because the buzzing drown it out. In other words, the whole point of a baby monitor goes out the window. We have yet to figure out what causes it to do this as nothing changes in my daughter's room. The same things are on all the time in her room. It is not worth the money at all. I'm going to Target today to buy a new monitor and this one is headed for the trash. We have a Fisher Price monitor that we've used for almost 3 years with my son and it still works perfectly. I'll definitely be steering clear of Evenflo in the future.

Summary: Love this monitor! 2008-06-11
Comment: We have been using this monitor since Feb 2006 and haven't had any issues with it at all. It picks up the slightest sound ( in a good way, not an annoying way!), and we've never had a problem with static or interference.

Summary: BEEP BEEP BEEP 2008-04-24
Comment: This moniter is great when it has signal. It picks up my kiddos just fine. I usually keep the volume at 3/10 and can hear my baby fuss as soon as he starts. The problem with this moniter is that, when it loses the signal (and IT WILL), it has an alarm that goes off at top volume no matter how low you have the volume set. So when it loses signal for even a second at 1am and 2am and 3am and 4am (you get the picture) you wake up whether your baby is sleeping through the night or not. I have had it with this moniter. I just about threw it through the window last night.

Summary: Not My 1st Choice 2007-07-24
Comment: I had the Safety 1st Super Clear Monitor for my first child and LOVED it. I could hear a pin drop with it. Unfortunatley nothing lasts forever. After four years I have to replace it. I found this Evenflo in Target and decided to try it. AWEFUL!!!! I can't hear anything. He has to cry for me to hear him. Not to mention I have to turn the volume all the way up and have right next to me. (The other I could set it in the kitchen, walk around down stairs and hear all.) After a couple hours of use this thing is going back and I'm searching high and low for another Safety 1st Super Clear.

Summary: Great at First.. Hate It Now 2007-06-13
Comment: When I first got this monitor, it worked great. I could hear my baby breathe through it which was comforting. After about a year, it suddenly doesn't hold a charge and gives this horribly loud static noise at the slightest sound in the baby's room (even the sound of a car passing by the street). So now it has to be hooked to electricity to avoid that problem.
Plus, the baby's room is on the other side of the house from mine. If my husband is walking anywhere in the house, I hear static and sometimes the alarm even goes off.
Bottom line, I hate this monitor. And I'm shopping for something else.
