Summary: Works with children of all ages! 2008-01-28
Comment: Our daughter is 5 years old. Rather than yelling for her attention or walking across the house to find out what she's doing, we push a button and chat with her from 2 locations in our home.
We'll keep this for her teen years! :)
My only gripe is that the cordless receivers don't hold their charge for very long. We need to keep them plugged in if we want to monitor her for long periods of time.

Summary: I've been looking everywhere for a monitor like this 2008-01-14
Comment: I have bought and returned so many monitors, looking for one that worked even half as well as an old Fisher-Price $20.00 cheapie I got as a gift several years ago. With another baby, I needed more than one working monitor. Digital, analog, you name it and I tried it. Some were too loud, too staticy, too bright. Some just plain did not work. I was getting so frustrated!!! It seems like someone needs to oversee quality control in monitor manufacturing. When I bought this Evenflo monitor I kept the receipt and packaging, expecting to return it like the others. To my shock and surprise it works great. Good reception, no interference with other products in the home, clear, quiet, all the things you want in a monitor. It doesn't have a lot of fancy frills, but hey, the frills are just more things to break. Give me simple and reliable every time. I am very pleased and will actually be keeping this monitor. I do not use the monitors unplugged from the wall so I cannot comment on the battery life. I also did not buy this monitor for the walkie-talkie capability, so no comments there either. Looking for a good, quiet monitor to just plain old listen to your baby? This is the way to go!

Comment: We loved this monitor...while it worked. The walkie-talkie feature and rechargeable batteries are particularly great. But it died without warning after five months of use -- and Evenflo provides a pathetic 90-day warranty. We'll be shopping other brands for a replacement.

Summary: Exactly what we were looking for! 2008-01-07
Comment: My husbands 86 year old mother moved in with us and is almost completely immobile. We live in a three story home and were in need of a monitor so she could get our attention any time she wants. This unit is great because she doesn't have to press a button, she just calls out and either my husband or I can hear her on one of the two mobile units. It is also nice to be able to press a button and speak to her so we can find out what she needs or just to reassure her we're on our way.
