Summary: BE VERY CAREFUL!! 2008-07-19
Comment: My 5 month old was just starting to try to lean forward like he is working on his stomach muscles. I was sitting next to him thankfully when he leaned forward just a little while the swing was on and it made him tip completely forward. He was strapped in tight and was just hanging there! Thank god I was there to catch him. I would NOT recommend this swing. I would definately buy the larger Fisher-Price swings that are more sturdy. At least you will be able to leave the room for a second and know your baby will be safe! I have nothing against Fisher Price, I just have an issue with this swing!

Summary: Swing is ok, but be careful... 2008-07-17
Comment: My mom bought this for our first daughter to use at her home and it worked great! But we now also have twins and one of them can turn herself nearly sideways and get her head stuck between the swing bar and the support bar. It only takes a minute for her to do it... She can be sleeping soundly for 10 minutes in the swing, I leave the room for a minute, and when I come back she's turned sideways and is getting her head crunched. My first daughter didn't have this problem and neither does my son. Just be careful.

Summary: Great Little Swing 2008-06-09
Comment: I looked around for quite a while before purchasing this swing - our first daughter never liked swings or bouncy chairs so I was skeptical at first. I bought this swing because we have very limited space in our house and I liked that it could fold and go with us anywhere. Having a compact SUV, space isn't as much as issue when we travel, so we don't mind very much that it doesn't fold quite as small as the box would have you believe. Batteries last forever in this swing, it's great! It took Rosemary a couple of tries, but she was soon very happy in her swing. We love that we could move the mobile to let her see us or hang it over her head so she could watch the Rain Forest animals. The only reason I didn't give this swing 5 stars: the animals fall off the mobile CONSTANTLY. If you move the swing AT ALL, down they go. Of course, Rosie thinks this is wonderful because she can grab the froggy when it drops in her lap and then chew on him. However, it's not so wonderful when it falls on the floor and ends up covered in dog hair. HUGE pet peeve. Also, it says that you can use the swing until baby is 25 lbs or is "active" - they don't define this very well. Rosie has been trying to sit herself up for a long time and twice dumped herself face-first onto the floor because she was able to fold herself in half at the waste at JUST the right moment during the swing cycle. Since she was strapped in, she wasn't hurt, (suspended just above the floor) but it was still scary. If your child is smaller and less "active", you won't have any trouble at all.

Summary: annoying toy bar 2008-06-02
Comment: we are not huge fans of this swing. the toy bar keeps us from seeing the baby's face when she is in it which so does not fly with her. the swing is a nice shape and it is sturdy enough, but the sounds and toy bar are not for us.
we much prefer and use more often the open top swing we also have.

Summary: Prefect travel swing 2008-05-25
Comment: I have another fisher price swing that plugs into the wall but it's very big and not easy to move so I got this one. I love it and my son loves it!! it puts him to sleep and kepts him content. I truely couldn't be more pleased. It's not to fast on the low settings. My son 13 lbs and I usually but it on speed 2.
