Summary: Great High Chair! 2008-07-21
Comment: I love this high chair! It's colorful and very very safe. I love the locking feature that stops the chair from sliding around. Its very secure and also very easy to take apart and clean. I'm hopeless at putting things together but this chair is easy to take apart to clean. Its also super comfy.
The only negative is that its hard to clean the detachable toy that sits in the tray but other than that its great!

Summary: Both kids love it! 2008-07-10
Comment: I learned my lesson with my first kid so I was looking for a high chair with 5 point harness. I looked at Graco ones but found the foot rest is at a very strange angle (honestly, I don't know how you can put your foot on it). and some of the reviews concern me. After reading the review of this chair, I decided to give it a try. It turns out to be great!

I bought the chair for my 6-month old but my 4-year-old loves it so much that he is also sitting in it (without tray). Now I wish I bought 2 at that time (the price already went up since I bought it)

The only thing is that it is a little bit hard to assemble by one person. You will need two people.

Comment: Fisher-Price Rainforest Healthy Care High Chair

We absolutely love this highchair. It is very functional, easy to clean and the toy keeps the baby occupied while her food is being prepared.

Summary: Seems like a good high chair 2008-06-28
Comment: We've used this chair with our son for about a year. He really enjoyed the toys when he was younger, but as others have mentioned we haven't used them on the chair for quite a while. The height adjustment is nice, we'll lower it down and let our son climb into the chair himself, and raise it up when we're feeding him.

I got a few extra trays, which allows us to cycle them through the dishwasher. You do still generally have to wash or wipe down the sides of the main tray that the trays sit on top of, but that hasn't been too big of a deal. So far the compartments on the tray have been pretty useless (it has one main compartment and a couple smaller ones on each side). Maybe when he's older they'll be nice for separating different types of food.

The fabric lining the seat seems pretty waterproof and easy to wipe down. My wife dissembles the straps every once in a while and runs them through the washing machine.

The chair seems very stable, I've never felt it was anywhere close to tipping over.

Summary: Does the job, but has some annoying problems 2008-06-25
Comment: We have been using this high chair for over a year now. It's the only one I've ever used, but if I ever buy another high chair, it won't be a Fisher Price. The most annoying problem is that it is too easy to remove the tray. My son quickly figured out how to unlatch the tray and throw it on the floor when he was done eating. Or even if he wasn't. Through stern "no"s and quick hands, we've gotten him to mostly stop this habit, but it's a VERY annoying problem with the chair. Why not make it a little harder for a toddler to figure out?

Also, the cup holder sections on the tray are too far away. My son is not small by any means, but only recently, at 18 months or so, has he been able to reach a cup that's in the cup holder without threat of knocking it over! He couldn't reach them at all when he was just a few months younger. He wanted to put his cup there, but he couldn't.

We haven't used the toys with the chair in ages. He likes the toys a lot, but we found that the tiger chew toy that hooks to the side of the tray just tended to get food all over it. Just one more thing to wash.

Food collects under the padding and gets stuck in crevasses. The tray insert is dishwasher safe, but food gets all over the rest of the tray, too, and you can't throw that in the dishwasher. My son likes to stuff peas and banana bits into the slots where the tiger toy would be connected.

I found the thing difficult to put together (and I'm usually pretty good at that) until I ignored the directions and did it my own way. I still wrenched my shoulder pretty good trying to attach the seat to the legs. You'd probably need two people to put it together without injury.

Pluses: The chair is comfortable. I like the 5-point harness. It's easy to remove the straps, and you can just toss them in the washing machine. As I said, my son does like the toys. We just haven't bothered to use them WITH the chair in a long time. Lots of height settings are quite handy, and it's easy to adjust. My son also used the chair as a push-along walker for a little while when he was learning to walk.
