Summary: Tilted to one side 2008-07-22
Comment: We have an odd problem with our cradle swing that noone else has mentioned. The seat does not hang level from the frame. The seat has two positions: one that allows the baby to rock side to side, and one that allows the baby to rock front to back(the swing always swings side to side: to adjust the direction of the swing for the baby, you rotate the seat 90 degrees, and have the baby face to the left in the swing assembly). When the seat is arranged to rock side to side, the tilt doesn't matter (the baby is simply leaning back more than one would expect). But when the seat is rotated 90 degrees, so that the seat rocks front to back, the seat is tilted at an angle (i.e. the right side of the seat is lower than the left side), and the baby bunches up against the right side of the seat (imagine sitting on a chair that is on a slight hill, or that is angled; you would 'roll' to the low side). I couldn't see any manufacturing flaw, and there is really no way for our assembly to cause this. We'll be returning the swing and finding something else.

Summary: Love this Swing!!! 2008-07-19
Comment: I bought this about 2 mo ago for our daughter to replace the battery operated one we had from when our son was little and it is great! It was a little more than I wanted to spend but totally worth it!! I love that it folds in half so is easy to move from room to room if needed and the fact that it plugs in is what sold me on it. I cannot imagine what we would have spent in batteries already and she is only 3mo old. She loves to swing and look at the mobile and the music is not too loud like some of the others we looked at.

Summary: Great Product:-))) 2008-07-15
Comment: It's a great product. I was never interested to buy this before as I really never liked the theme itself. But when this product arrived...it's a wonderful swing. Bright color, good speed:-) My 2 months old daughter liked it immediately:-)))The best part is it runs on electricity, no battery required...it's a huge plus. It took us just 30 mins to assemble. Right now my daughter uses side by side swing only but front to back is equally great.
There are couple of small issues like all 6 speeds seems to be equally fast. The recline button on the base is not so smooth. The sleep music is too loud so we have to switch it off when she is sleeping.
But in front of strong positive points these small issues are not so important. I highly recommend this swing. It's a wonderful swing with value for money:-))

Summary: Overall great buy, but comes with some problems 2008-06-30
Comment: We bought this swing for our second child after she developed colic and the travel, front to back swing just wasn't working for her. After a night of hours of crying, my husband sent me from the house to pick one of these up and I can say that overall, I am glad that we did buy this.
First off, the swing is very cute and my daughter does love it. She doesn't sleep in it as much anymore, but is getting to the stage where she actually likes looking at the mobile on the swing. I also love that the mobile arm lifts up and out of the way, making it easier to get baby in and out. The price was a little much for me, but desperate times call for desperate measures, and colic makes purchasing a $[...] swing seem reasonable. The AC plug is also very convenient so I am not having to replace batteries once a week or more.
Now on to the cons. I gave this swing only 3 stars because the music didn't even last 2 weeks on this thing. It gradually got quieter and quieter until the sound just died completely. And Fisher Price's solution for this was to buy a whole new motor section for the swing for 60-some odd dollars. Another thing that annoys me about this swing, and I don't know if it was a defect on mine but I doubt it, is that the arm holding the seat to the motor is off set, so when my daughter was lighter, every time she swung to the right, she would hit the frame bar. I could not run the swing at a very high speed at all with out the metal pieces clanking together.
I am glad that we bought this swing because it did help my daughter with her fussiness, in turn allowing the rest of the family to sleep, but I was just so disappointed that something that cost so much had features that didn't hold up well at all. Be wary about the music box going out relatively quickly and hopefully Fisher Price might fix this problem.

Summary: The Best Swing on the Market 2008-06-30
Comment: The title says it all. This swing is great! My son loves taking a nap in his swing. He coos at the animals and you have an option of playing different music at different volume levels or none at all! And the best part is that it works with either batteries or plug. The movable cradle is also great! You can recline it or keep baby sitting upright plus I love how the seat itself can twist in any direction. Now I can twist the seat so the baby can see me working in the kitchen instead of having to physically move the whole swing itself.
