Summary: Fine for our dog. 2008-04-09
Comment: Had given away all our child gates and then wound up getting a pup. Works fine for our dog. Wood is unfinished, might not be best for a toddler. Good for the price.

Summary: sturdy, priced right 2008-04-09
Comment: i found this product to be well-constructed and sturdy, easy to set up and use, and best of all it was definitely the best price of any i searched for online. the rubber stoppers prevent any mars or scratches to my doorframe, and keep it in place against the nudgings of my small dog as well as my friend's 2 year old daughter when she visits. the actual mesh is coated with pretty heavy duty plastic so it wont snap or break, but also wont snag or cut anyone/thing like plain wire might. and the whole piece is so lightweight i can easily maneuver it with one hand. definitely give it a shot.
