Summary: bath time distraction. 2007-08-06
Comment: Since my 2 year old son loves playing in the water but dislikes being washed, especially his hair, I thought this might make a good distraction for bath time. I love the fact that this company DOESN'T use PVC plastic in it's toys. PVC is a toxic, environmental hazard.
The price for this watermill is very inexpensive. The suction cups stick well to the side of the tub & the tile wall. The cups do need to have any soap residue washed off or them, otherwise they won't stick as well. A rinse in warm water after each bath helps keep the residue from building up. Those cups are very strong!
So far my son loves it. When it's bath time, I tell him we'll get him washed first, then he can have time to play. He laughs & giggles watching the water swirl down the bowl & then spin the wheels & tip the trough back & forth. He would gladly spend an hour in the water just to play with the watermill. It can also be used for sand, but we haven't tried that yet.
I give it 4 stars for durability only because there hasn't been enough time passed to see how it holds up. Plus, it's only stuck on the side of the tub, it's not a toy that gets thrown & kicked.
It's definitely worth your money to buy this toy for any young child!
