Summary: A life saver!! 2008-06-27
Comment: This swing was truly a blessing! Our daughter had servere reflux and could only find good sleep sitting up, and this swing did the trick. It has a great five point harness which is easy to unbuckle. The swing has different speeds, sounds and volumes. It reclines and is very durable. We also have a Fisher Price Rain Forest swing, which goes side to side, but the sides weren't tall enough and I always worried she would fall out. (plus it only had a three point harness) This swing clocked well over 1000 hours without any problems!
(I do not recommend using a swing as a replacement for a crib)

Summary: Great swing 2008-06-10
Comment: This swing has been wonderful. We've used it since the first day my baby came home from the hospital. The infant padding is a little bit of a pain to figure out, but it removes easily and is not necessary. This reclines enough to fit a newborn. I like that it goes up to 30 pounds because I can still put her in it to catch a shower. She's a year now and maybe 23 pounds now, so she would have outgrown any other swing. The extra 8 pound weight limit will get you a lot more use because toddler's weights level off in that area. It contains her really well and keeps her happy!
The swinging does slow down as the child gets to about 20 pounds, but is still enough to keep baby happy. The music is nice. I think in a year of using this swing daily, we've gone through two sets of batteries. This is a good swing for the money.

Summary: Mommy and Daddy knee saver! Must have... 2008-01-09
Comment: Our daughter loves to be rocked and bounced to sleep (at the same time, so the rocking chair only works part of the time). After a couple of weeks of taking turns, our knees were DONE! We got the swing hoping it would satisfy her. It actually didn't work when she was fussy and tired, BUT it works great the rest of the time. She naps in it and hangs out with her older siblings in it. She was too small to use the tray when we bought it so we didn't put it on. We can sit up the (very easy to recline) seat so she can see what everyone is doing and she's thrilled. The GREAT thing about it is it takes three BIG (D I think?) batteries. We've used it everyday for three months now - maybe two or three times a day for 5 to 20 minutes at a time unless she falls asleep, then up to two hours...and the batteries have lasted. I just realized today how long it's been. The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five is that it's really got a big foot print. We have a tiny house. If it weren't for our failing knees, I never would have bought it. I'm glad we did and would recommend it to anyone. The sounds it comes with are a little wierd. But since we didn't even know it had sounds when we bought it, I didn't let that factor into my review. We never use them...the swing by itself is well worth the money we spent and the floor space we've lost!

Summary: A Swing that Works! Hooray! 2007-05-31
Comment: After trying out the Fisher-Price Rainforest swing, we thought our little baby boy was just not a "swinging" baby. Well, that all changed after we tried out this swing.
We've used it for about 2 weeks now, about 1-3hrs a day, and the batteries are still working great even at the highest speed with the music on. Our "little boy" is almost 19lbs at 4 months, but this swing has no problem keeping up the momentum.
The music is actually not that bad and although the nature sounds loop every 3 seconds, it seemed to calm him when he was being a bit fussy the other night, so if scratchy "water" sounds are going to put him to sleep, I'm not going to question it.
I highly recommend this swing, especially if your baby is a bit above average like ours. =)
