Product Description
HALO SleepSack Wearable Blanket The HALO SleepSack Wearable Blanket is the only blanket on the market this customized to fit a range of sizes to ensure safety for all infants. Its design is making consumers and vendors alike rethink the idea of a baby blanket. The SleepSack is the safest, yet softest blanket on the makret. It is made of 100% flame resistant cotton. The SleepSack from HALO is sleeveless to reduce the risk of baby rebreathing into the sleeve. It reduces the risk of overheating and is easy to slip on to a sleeping child. The Sack design means that baby will never kick a blanket off or, even worse, up over his mouth and nose causing the airflow to be disrupted. An inverted zipper allows the parent to change the diaper with ease and also prevents the child from scratching his chin or even unzipping the SleepSack. HALO works hard to prevent SIDS and with the SleepSack they have made tremendous strides. With each SleepSack sale HALO donates a portion of the sale toward SIDS medical research, education and family services.

Summary: Great Product 2008-09-25
Comment: We have been using these since my son was 3 months old and rolling over in the swaddle blankets. He loves them, we have 4 in cotton and fleece and he looks for them when he is getting ready for bed. We are moving up to the x-large now, and are very happy that Halo makes an even larger size for bigger kids. We will probably use these for bed until the biggest size doesn't fit. My son paces in the crib and sings until he falls asleep, and has no problem moving in the sack. We keep it cooler in the house and love that he can't loose his blanket in the middle of the night.

Summary: Not necessary 2008-07-03
Comment: I (like many new parents) had a fear of SIDS. I also had my air conditioning set on 65-67 (against my will-long story) and it was October when I had my baby. So, prior to his birth, I went out and spent an outragious amount of money on these things in various sizes. I used the cotton swaddler one in sage twice and this one once, and that was all the use I got of them. He overheated in this one while in his crib (babies are not supposed to get sweaty) and they just were not very convient. If you are a new mother/father you will find that most the time you will fall asleep while holding your newborn and your body heat combined with fleece will heat a baby up to much. It is impossible to put one of these things on when they are asleep. A tucked in recieving blanket will do just fine. These are very expensive, I recommend if you want/need this product go for the ones in plain cotton, buy one to start, and don't buy the swaddler. The velcro on the swaddler causes laundry issues and if you are not using a pacifier and breastfeeding your baby needs his hands. Plus, your baby will have a limited range of motion in them. It just was not worth it!

Summary: Don't just randomly order any size. Check the weight. 2008-06-10
Comment: I love these sleep sacks. Halo is one of the few I've found that actually makes different sizes, not just one-size-fits-all, AND makes cotton ones. I'd never wear polyester pajamas because I don't enjoy being damp at night, so why should a baby sleep in polyester?? Crazy. Anyhow, these sacks are wonderful, well-made, etc. just like everyone else agrees. One note: the XL size is ENORMOUS. It could fit a second-grader. If you have an infant that size, I feel SO sorry for you.

Summary: Greatest baby item EVER 2008-01-18
Comment: I don't think I ever used a single footed sleeper that I got for my baby shower (and I received dozens of them) because this had me hooked. So easy to get into to change a diaper, so cuddly soft for baby, and so safe for them to sleep in. I donated all the footed sleepers recently because I will only use the Halo sleep sack with any future children we have.

Comment: Love it! When my son was a baby, we used this all the time! It's much better than others I've used. It's nice to know your baby is snug and safe.
