Product Review
Product Description

The Inglesina Zippy stroller is still the easiest stroller to fold with loads of feature and design improvements. Designed to be folded with only one hand, even while carrying a baby or anything else parents have their arms full with, the Zippy combines exceptional design with innovative features. Ergonomically designed handles were based on studies to accommodate parents of different heights. Once folded, the stroller stands on its own. Aptly named, this stroller zips around with terrific maneuverability and the all-terrain wheels can handle any bumps on the road. The Zippy also turns into a travel system complete with a universal car seat adapter that will secure your favorite car seat to the stroller.

Comment: If you have a problem with your stroller, Inglesina will not stand behind its products. Be aware.

Summary: Beautiful stroller with Great features! 2008-04-08
Comment: I purchased this stroller from Amazon and received it in a little more than a week. Considering that I live overseas, that was outstanding shipping and free with the Super Saver Shipping!!! The stroller is beautiful. The pink color is not as intense as it seems in the picture, yet it looks really nice. The stroller came with a rain cover, cup holder, a regular bar, and separate tray for baby to put two cups (drink and snack). The basket is a decent size, although other strollers have bigger ones. I love the fact that the front wheels have the lock system behind the wheel. I own a Chico stroller, which has the lock system in the front and every time you bump into something, it locks the wheels. The canopy can cover the baby completely and it has a "window" to look at the baby. The stroller is lightweight and it has an outstanding one hand closing mechanism. I owned an older Inglesina and always loved it, so I decided to get another one for my new baby. I purchased the Compass I-420 car seat, which is compatible with this stroller, and now have a travel system. Although the stroller is a bit on the pricier side, I think it is well worth it, as it can be used all through toddler years. The stroller is really easy to steer. I LOVE it!

Summary: Perfect Machine! 2008-03-05
Comment: When I was visibly pregnant and looking at strollers in the mega-aisles of baby superstores, another mom came up to me and conspiratorially whispered "that's the one you need-- it's my best friend!". We chatted for a while about how EASY the Zippy is to fold and maneuver and my husband and I decided to take the stranger's advice. We have been SO happy! I am the envy of all the other moms we go out with because I can be out the door and in the car in half the time it takes them. We had been using our SnugRide in combination with the stroller-- and even though it doesn't "click" in, the tethering system consists of TWO snap buckles. I can ratchet it down, which makes me feel that it is very secure, and it really doesn't take much extra time at all. Now that our little girl has outgrown her infant seat, we are very impressed with the in-stroller harness system. It is very comfortable, yet securely holds our squirmy 5 month-old in place. The hood comes all the way down to the 'belly bar'-- so on cold Minnesota spring days, it's almost as good as having a giant bundleme over the entire stroller. I am 5'5, and the handle height is perfect for me. The only 'criticism' we have is when the diaper bag on the back of the stroller (the skiphop duo works seamlessly with this model), my 6'1 husband has to take shorter strides, as it is a bit short for him.
Overall, I highly recommend the Zippy-- I feel that even though it is a bit pricier than a "system", the benefits FAR outweigh the increased cost.

Summary: Love this stroller! 2008-02-25
Comment: It maneuvers great, looks great, and is very sturdy. I researched a lot of strollers before settling on this one and I happy with it. It is fine over uneven sidewalks and I have not had any problems with it being hard to push/maneuver. I love that I can see through the window and look in on my son. He seems very comfortable in it. The one hand open/close feature is fantastic and when it closes up it doesn't seem to bulky.

Summary: Best All-Around Stroller 2008-02-16
Comment: We've had this stroller for 4 months now and have been using it regularly indoors (malls, restaurants, etc.), outdoors, rain and snow. It performs really well in most any environment. It folds in a snap with no bending down to pick it up (you'll realize the importance of that once you try out other strollers). And it opens in one motion.

We live on the 2nd floor and need to carry it up and down occasionally--it's lightweight design is a plus here. The stroller can also be pulled behind you (like luggage) up stairs (when closed). It's easy to fold and store in the car. We bought the Compass compatible car seat which offers the convenience of snapping it in. (To use, the arm pads must be popped off the stroller first, which takes 10 seconds.)

The suspension offers a comfortable ride, but it also saves your wrist joints as well. The drive is silky smooth and we've never had difficulty in the bends. While showroom testing, we found this stroller to be STURDIER than the Peg Perego Pliko P3. It has no shakiness or wobbles. Comes with a rain cover and cup holder.

I think that for the price, no other stroller comes close.
