Summary: THE GREATEST INVENTION 2008-05-05
Comment: We have a 15 month old, who would only sleep in his crib. We have a couple big trips planned, and then we are moving out of the country. We needed to figure out a place for him to sleep (his play-pen was much too inconvenient). We were hesitant, but we ordered this travel bed. It has worked wonders! Since then, we sold our house, and moved to my in-laws till we leave the country. It used to be impossible for him to sleep here, but when we close the flaps, he is in his own little space where he feels safe.
The great thing is, that no matter where we go, when we put him in there he will know exactly where he is, and can relax.
One last thing: about the set-up, it is SO easy. SERIOUSLY! I read the reviews so I was a little scared. So when I opened the box I made sure to set the instructions next to me, and decided I should practice a couple times before we took it somewhere (I'm glad I did). Right when I took off the elastic the tent just pops up by itself, so that's easy enough. Then, to take it down is a little tricky the FIRST time, but once you get it it's the easiest thing. Just use the instructions the first time.
I cannot think of a better solution for our travel problems! Plus, my husband thinks I'm a genius for finding this. ;)

Summary: Excellent Product.... why would anyone buy a traditional pack and play??? 2008-05-03
Comment: I have been very impressed with this product. I researched all the different options and have borrowed other's traditional pack n plays. This product blows them out of the water. It is excellent for those who travel with their children. My neighbor has decided to get one too after seeing how easy mine is to set up and take down. Not to mention the weight and portability difference between the peapod and the traditional pack n play.
I highly recommend this product.

Comment: Great idea. Worked great one time, but when we tried to put it back in the bag two of the supports broke and now it won't sit up. I may have folded the pod the wrong way but nevertheless it wasn't very forgiving.

Summary: Light weight and quick to assemble 2008-04-24
Comment: I purchased the PeaPod Plus for our 9 month old daughter when we were traveling for a month. It took her a few nights to not freak out at being zipped inside the tent or scared when she woke up, but now she is fine with it. We opted for this one over the infant version as we have a larger-than-average kid and hope to keep using it well into the future.
The only problem we have had with it was that our daughter was able to roll the PeaPod over onto its side while she was inside it by kneeling and pushing on one side wall. Because of the rigid frame and inflatable matress, it doesn't collapse, so she was safe, we just needed to roll it back again and settle her doen.
The PeaPod is very light-weight and extremely easy to assemble and dismantle - much easier than a playyard. We now use it when visiting friends in the evening, since it can be set up anywhere in just a few minutes.

Summary: Great price/great product 2008-04-23
Comment: We were looking for a travel bed that we could take with us for a two week trip to Ireland. Our son is 2.5 years old and we wanted to give him something he could have as his own/the same wherever we were. This product is lightweight, compact, and offer plenty of room (or only concern is that it may not fit in some of the small B and B rooms along with our bed...). We have left it out and our son loves to play in it. We took it for a weekend trip and he went right down in it too - since it closes up, we can even be in the room with the lights on low and it doesn't bother him. It takes a bit of practice to get it to fold, but I didn't think it was too hard and super fast and easy when you get it down. So far - seems like a great investment - both as a travel bed system and fun personal tent!
