Comment: We bought this item when my daughter began to crawl. The instructions were clear, and it took my husband about 30 minutes to install the hearth guard. I was really impressed with how well the brown color matches our reddish brown brick. Also, the guard is very secure and doesn't budge when I pull on it. It has been especially helpful since our little girl began to pull up on the hearth, and we have avoided several bumps on the head by having this in place. I would highly recommend this hearth guard to anyone with a raised brick hearth. I am pleased with the purchase, even though I thought it was a little pricey at the time I bought it.
