Summary: Terrible Quality 2007-05-25
Comment: I actually had last year's model, the 3in1. It's so difficult to use and the bassinet in the 3in1 is so unsafe I got rid of it. Another negative, the irregular bowed out shape makes it impossible to find sheets to fit and it doesn't fit through doorways.
The sides are incredibly hard to get locked into place and even harder to collapse.
kolcraft sent me the 2in1 bassinet to replace the unsafe 3in1 and it was fine, nice and big. the problem is the play yard itself, the mechanisms are just not easy to use.

Comment: I purchased this product March 30 and on April 10 the price dropped almost $70. Ouch. My husband and I fell in love with the Contours 3 Wheel Stroller... It's excellent and I really liked the looks of this playyard. No ruffles or cute frills. The playyard is exactly as pictured there is a lot of center support in the bottom; assembly was less than 5 minutes minus the bassinet. The bassinet is held by curved tension clips, those require a little muscle but they make the bassinet very secure. This is one of the largest playyards we've seen...
The side supports on the bottom need to be checked occasionally because they don't seem to stay in place without the weight of the mattress while the bassinet is being used however it is still extremely sturdy and going no where. All of the sounds and music are very tolerable and not annoying. The vibe control is adjustable and so is the volume. I'm happy we stayed with the Contours line. If only we could have gotten it on sale. :(
