Product Review

Breastfeeding mothers know that let-down can occur at the most inopportune times. It can be triggered by missing a scheduled feeding, hearing a baby crying (whether your own or someone else's), or even just thinking about your baby. And, of course, leaks always seems to happen when you're in the middle of an important business presentation or wearing your best silk dress at a friend's wedding. These extra absorbent disposable nursing pads have a soft, comfortable lining that rests against the skin. The lining draws excess moisture away from skin and into a polymer core in the center. A laminated waterproof lining against your clothing prevents milk from getting any further. The pads are incredibly thin (2 mm) and contoured like a breast, so they don't look stiff or unnatural under clothing. Adhesive tape on the back of each pad secures it to undergarments to keep it from shifting during the day. Each pad comes individually wrapped for hygienically transporting them in a briefcase or diaper bag. --Cristina Vaamonde

Summary: The BEST Nursing Pads 2008-05-07
Comment: These are the BEST nursing pads ever! Don't waste your time trying another brand - just buy these. They are individually wrapped (great for those of us who don't always need to change both pads at the same time) and they have a sticky back so they stay in place (no more leaking because you moved around in your sleep and your nursing pads didn't move with you). And they are contured just right and large enough in diameter that they don't stick out like "I'm wearing nursing pads." I love them!

Summary: Best Disposable Pads Out There 2008-05-06
Comment: By far, these are the best disposable breastpads out there, and have been for a number of years (used them with my now 5 year old and again with my 17 month old. It's nice that they are individually wrapped because you can throw them in diaper bags, purses, etc. The peel-off option adhesive is great to keep them in place, or you can choose not to use it if you'd rather. They are big, they are super-absorbent, they have a nice leak shield around the edge. The keep dry cover is good for preventing skin chafing and doesn't hurt or stick to sensitive nipples and keeps the moisture away from breasts which is perfect if dealing with thrush or cracked nipples.

If you are going to use cloth, I like the Medela ones... but for disposables, these are by FAR the best.

Summary: Worth it to spend the extra money. 2008-05-02
Comment: I've tried the other leading nursing pads, (e.g. Medela, First Years) and these are certainly the best! The sticker part keeps them in place. They are also very thin and great on absorbency. Other pads leak and don't stay in place. These are packaged in individual wrappers, which helps because the First years brand has 2 in one wrapper and at times you only need one. I agree the only negative part is that they are pink, and are visible through a white sports bra. These Lansinoh pads are more expensive than other pads but are worth it.

Summary: Absorbing and fits great 2008-05-01
Comment: I used the cheap pads while at home but when I needed to go out I would definitely use these..they absorb better, fit better and are very discrete, not obvious like other nursing pads, will definitely use again with next baby.

Summary: Absolutely best!!! 2008-04-19
Comment: Thin, comfortable and dependable - what else can a nursing mother hope for in a pair of nursing pads?! I have been using them now for almost six months and am very happy with their performance.
