Summary: Great bottle for a reluctant baby 2007-09-10
Comment: My son refused any bottle until I found these - and we tried quite a few before them. The nipple is shaped like the Mam pacifiers, and is made of a very soft, slightly textured silicone. That seems to make a big difference. I think the whole effect is somehow more "boob-like" in their mouths. The vent on the bottom helped too, since he never caught onto the way you are supposed to drink from a bottle. He would try to continually suck and eventually create an enormous vacuum inside. With these, the bubbles would rise from the bottom as he drank, allowing him to keep going for the whole thing. I know there are other bottles that use this same idea, but this, combined with the soft, shaped nipple seemed to work for him.
One other note: these bottle are bpa-free, which is reassuring to Moms as well.
