Summary: Overall Good Pillow but needs Improvements 2007-10-01
Comment: I wanted a pregnancy pillow that would give me support for both stomach and back and this pillow does the job well. I also didn't want to be constricted by a big body pillow and unable to turn over to my other side easily. This pillow allows me to easily turn over without having to rearrange the pillow.
The downside of this pillow is that it doesn't come with a pillow case and for $55 it really should. The major downside for me was the middle of the pillow where the two pillows meet with valcro attachments.
The first few nights lying on this valcro section was very uncomfortable and I woke up a couple of times in pain as there is absolutely no padding and it dug into my side. I wrapped a pillow case around the center part but I still woke up in pain. In the end my husband cut a piece of memory foam that we had on an old bed topper and I sewed a pillow case for it and attached it to the center so that I was able to sleep on some padding rather than tough valcro. The pillow is now very comfortable.
If you don't want to go to the same trouble then this pillow can be uncomfortable on your side.
