Product Description
Miracle Blanket: At last, the perfect swaddle made easy! Miracle Blanket earned the "thumbs up" from the Good Housekeeping Institute. Uses no velcro, zippers or other confusing adjustments that can scratch baby and one size fits all. New research shows the benefits of swaddling to calm baby and help ensure longer sleep but the Miracle Blanket makes it easy. It truly is amazing. The Miracle Blanket is made of the highest quality (and cozy) materials available and is stitched with great attention to detail. The Miracle Blanket helps baby sleep on his back to reduce SIDS concerns and clinical studies prove that proper swaddling can often eliminate colic symptoms. Yet most blankets do not provide for a secure swaddle and baby often manages to squirm loose. The Miracle Blanket is easy to use and keeps baby snug. Pediatrician recommended. What are parents saying? "I love this blanket! It has saved me countless hours of sleep and crying. Happiest Baby On The Block: Harvey Karp, M.D., has appeared on Good Morning America, ABC News' "World News Tonight," CNN, and a number of national radio programs. In addition, his work has been featured in the LA Times, People Magazine, USA Today and dozens of newspapers across the country as well as being mentioned in Time, Newsweek, Parenting and many other national magazines. Dr. Karp was trained by some of America's top pediatricians, including Dr. T. Berry Brazelton, and in 1981, he received the prestigious Ehrmann Fellowship to study crying and colic. An assistant professor of pediatrics at UCLA School of Medicine, with a private practice in Santa Monica, California, Dr. Karp is also a nationally renowned expert on children's health and the environment, and an authority on breastfeeding. Instructional DVD on getting baby to sleep and helping her to sleep longer.

Summary: INCREDIBLY AMAZING!!!!!!! 2008-11-02
Comment: Our baby had a terribly fussy time between 8pm and 11pm every night from the day we brought her home from the hospital. We just assumed that it was something we had to deal with because all babies have a fussy time. My Mom gave us the DVD to watch. We watched with skeptisisim, thinking that these techniques couldn't possibly turn off the crying like a light switch, as they appear to in the DVD.
That night just as "fussy time" began we swaddled her up, turned her on her side and "shushed" in her ear......and, like a light switch, she stopped crying immediatly, we truly had "The Happiest Baby on the Block"!!!!!!!
This DVD should be handed out at the hospital with EVERY newborn!!!!!!

Summary: PERFECT baby gift set! 2008-10-20
Comment: Amazing! Someone actually ready my mind. After having two children of my own and relying heavily on both The Happiest Baby DVD and The Miracle Blanket to get me through the first 4 to 6 months, those two are always my baby gift to new parents. I usually buy them separately and give them together so I am THRILLED to find them in a gift set. Seriously, they are both the best bang-for-buck baby items. Forget stuffed animals and onesies for baby gifts; give parents something they need at 3am every single night - around the clock for that matter.
