Summary: A Good Wrap for A Little Money 2007-07-15
Comment: I used my Moby starting when my daughter was about 2 months. She loves being so close to me and feeling so secure. It is great to be able to tuck her head under the fabric to keep her so tight that i can do all kinds of household chores and run after my two year old son. It is a great price compared to all the other wraps on the market. I looked into buying the Maya Wrap but i'm glad i ended up with the Moby. It looks very complicated and hard to use but after watching it being put on once, i was able to put it on myself and get my baby in it without any problems. Of course, as with everything, it gets better with time as you practice how to get it just right. I love the versatility of it. You can wear her all sorts of ways depending on her mood. I can keep her awake or put her to sleep or just hold her nice and tight if she is being fussy. I even thought about getting a second one to wear in the pool.
My only complaints would be that it is a lot of fabric to tote around. For that reason, it is not as easy to just throw in the diaper bag. But if you fold it, it is small enough to transport if you want to. It is also a little bit warm for her to be in for a long period of time if we are outside in the heat. I mostly wear it around the house. They say you can nurse in it but i've never tried. Once i get her in, she is so secure that it doesn't seem practical to move her into a nursing position. It can probably be done but i haven't attempted.
Overall, its a great wrap for the money.
