Summary: The only breast pillow. 2008-07-12
Comment: I tried using the boppy pillow. Our boy couldn't lay straight with my breast. And his body was sinking on each side. We had to prop pillows under both sides. We went to our lactation consultant appointment at our pediatrician and this is the pillow that they used. Our boy laid perfectly with my breast and man it was so much easier to nurse! Our lactation consultant even told me that the boppy pillow was NEVER designed to be a nursing pillow but they advertise it as one. This pillow was specifically designed for nursing. At the beginning I didn't think that nursing was going to work for me, but after going in for my lactation consultant appointment I was taught how to properly latch my baby on and I had found the proper pillow to use to make it easier on my boy and myself. We have a My Brest Friend for home and one in the car for on the go. I have now been successfully nursing for going on 9 months now. Please do not buy the Boppy.

Summary: Wonderful!!! Better than the Boppy! 2008-04-04
Comment: I breast fed with my first child and I had the Boppy. I thought the boppy was good. But when i saw this it looked even better. I thought, if I don't like it, I can return it. It is wonderful! I am so glad I made the investment. You will have much more flexibility in positioning and comfort with this vs. the boppy!

Summary: The best nursing pillow - hands down 2008-02-25
Comment: This is really the best nursing pillow on the market. This is the nursing pillow that is recommended by lactation consultants. I can really see why. I really love this one. It has made my breastfeeding experience so pleasurable. This pillow brings baby into the perfect position for nursing. It also fastens around your waist so that the pillow is snug around you and the baby does not roll into the middle of the pillow like with the Boppy. It also has a pocket to keep nursing pads, pacifiers and other small items. The slipcover also washes up really nicely too. This is one of my favorite breastfeeding accessories and I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Wouldn't breastfeed without it! 2007-12-06
Comment: If you're a first-time mother, buy this pillow and take it to the hospital with you! Even after visits from two lactation consultants, I was in tears trying to prop my baby up on eight million bed pillows and position him for nursing. But this pillow can be strapped on easily even when you're sleep-deprived, and it makes angling and positioning the baby very, very easy. Cannot recommend it more highly.

Summary: Saved my life 2007-06-02
Comment: My baby came 5 weeks early and the process of breastfeeding hit me like a Mack truck, I didn't get to take the breastfeeding class I'd signed up for and had to learn everything in the hospital. This was horrible as I was on some pretty strong drugs and on no sleep, with scrunchy pillows that compressed down and didn't support my arms and back, leaving me incredibly sore after trying to breastfeed and pump. As soon as my husband brought the pillow to the hospital the process of learning to breastfeed improved a million percent - the pillow is soft enough to be comfortable for the baby but nice and firm. It stays in place, is easy to snap on and off, and Dad loves using it too. The pocket is nice and I love that the cover is washable. At first I wasn't sure what the little bumps on the one side were for so I just turned it over and used it that way, and it worked fine - since then I've figured out the little bumps are in the exact right position to hold up baby's head just a little bit, so you can even nurse without having one hand cradling the head (if you want to). I LOVE this product, I don't know what I'd do without it.
