Summary: Way Better Than Boppy! 2008-07-02
Comment: I only had the boppy pillow with my 1st child & never got the hang of using it...my baby always seemed to be falling foward or backward which made nursing awkward. My 2nd baby was born early & was small so we had a hard time with nursing. It was hard trying to juggle him while helping with latching on correctly. I decided to purchase one of these pillows & am very grateful that I did. It has made nursing much easier & more enjoyable! It gives me great back support & my baby has a flat surface to lie on. The newer one that I got has a clip & not the velcro to fasten it so it's quiet. The one concern I had was if it was going to fit me properly cuz I am a smaller build...it fits great & is very adjustable! My advice: Don't waste your money on a boppy!!

Summary: Wish I'd Had the Boppy 2008-04-08
Comment: I guess this just wasn't for me. After reading all the fab reviews, I decided to get this instead of a Boppy. It was good for a little while and I appreciated the support for the baby and my back but since you have to get it wrapped around you and then settled (while your baby screams), it isn't as easy to use as a Boppy. Plus after about 2 months, it was just easier to skip it and it has been in the closet ever since. At least with a Boppy, you can use it for other things as your child grows and sits up, etc. This had such a short useful life and is such a big thing to store, it just wasn't worth it.

Comment: I love the Brest Friend! It was recommended by the teachers of a breastfeeding course I took at the hospital, and it's made breastfeeding easy and comfortable for me and for my son.

Summary: my brest friend is pretty good 2008-02-13
Comment: I like this breast feeding pillow because it is nice and firm. However, I find the part that wraps around your back gets in the way if you want to lean against a chair back or wall.I think I may open up the cover and cut off that part of the foam pillow insert. Also, I bought a second one so I can somehow stack them together because I have a long torso. This means I am often putting another pillow underneath to boost baby up so I am not hunching over to feed her.

Summary: Mom of 3--best baby product I have 2007-11-13
Comment: I breastfed my first child for 18 months and my second child for 16 months--and I am so upset I didn't know about this product! Now I'm breastfeeding my third child and I wear this pillow at least 6 hours a day. It's so comfortable that I just leave it on sometimes after he falls asleep! I can walk upstairs, answer the phone, vacuum--whatever--and he doesn't wake up. He's only 10 pounds and the pillow supports his weight; I just keep a hand on him for safety. It offers great back support and it fits while I'm sitting in my computer chair (with arms). The Boppy is bulky and makes you completely immobile; the Brest Friend is a much better choice. Did I mention I love this pillow? I'm wearing it right now!
