Product Description

A comfortable, luxurious carriage awaits your baby. The Venezia SNG has retractable car seat anchors to instantly attach a Primo Viaggio infant car seat (sold separately). While baby is snug and secure in the 5-point restraint, you can regulate the fresh air supply via the zippered ventilating hood. Toddlers can relax in the plush stroller seat that fully reclines for naps. The reversible handle gives you the option of a carriage or stroller, and the height adjusts to accommodate both mom and dad. Extend or remove the front bumper/baby tray so baby doesn't need to be moved for diaper changes. The basket holds everything you need, while the beautiful high-quality, Italian-designed upholstery removes for washing. When folded, Venezia can be stored in a small space. Holds children up to 40 pounds. JPMA (safety) Certified. Made in Italy.

Summary: Love it!!! Stylish, comfy, versitile 2003-12-17
Comment: The storage basket is big enough for my Avent diaper bag. I bought a cheap cup holder that snaps on which is great if that's an issue for you. Both myself (5'3") and hubby (6'0") push without kicking bottom. Also, it pushes like a dream - so smooth and turns on a dime which is great in crowded stores! The boot came in very handy when we were vacationing in Maine. Started sprinkling and the boot material repelled the water nicely. I haven't had any trouble with fabric and we've taken ours on an airplane and it constantly slides around in my trunk. I like the carseat - esp. that it has hood too. With the Venezia you can completely cover baby with hood which is great. Child tray is not a big issue for me. If you want one, Peg Perego website sells them for twenty bucks. So stylish, I constantly get compliments on my stroller. I never thought anyone would comment on a baby carriage!!! The recline and fold are effortless. I am very critical, but I can't think of one thing I don't like about this stroller.

Summary: Great Stroller w/ just a few adjustments needed 2003-12-11
Comment: As a first time mom I was conflicted about which stroller/car seat travel system to buy. I was attracted to this one because of the available colors. Not one to like the "baby" fabrics that are out there, I loved the silver/gray neutral color of the fabric. After using it for 4 months now I have a few suggestions for the manufacturer:

1) Although the fabric is beautiful, it doesn't breathe which in a hot climate causes your poor baby to sweat profusely!!

2) The fabric wears and develops abrasions on the edges too quickly for normal wear and tear.

3) The car seat (Primo Viaggio) that is sold with it is so narrow that after my son was about 3 1/2 months old he didn't fit it in anymore.

4) The handle bar needs a cup holder (shouldn't that be automatic at this point?) and is too low for normal heighth individuals (I'm 5'5" and my husband is 6'). The shortness causes your feet to "kick" the wheels when pushing the stroller at times. The handle bar should adjust up like my McLaren Techno XT does.

The steering is excellent and the stroller folds easily. All in all I think the stroller is good but could use some improvements to make it excellent!

Summary: Not worth the money! 2003-12-05
Comment: My husband and I have been very dissatisfied with this stroller for several reasons.
1. The handlebar is very low and we have to bend over to push it.
2. The basket is very small and it is very hard put things inside because the seatback is in the way.
3. There is no drink holder.
4. The car seat only holds infants up to 20 lbs.
5. It is very difficult to get the stroller up a curb.
6. The wheels often get stuck on small bumps in the road.
7. Although the handlebar moves back and forth, the stroller will only fold up in one direction.
8. Our feet hit the stroller when walking.
This stroller isn't worth $300. We have returned ours and are looking for a better one.

Summary: A brilliant all-rounder 2003-11-30
Comment: This stroller is at the higher end of the price spectrum for strollers, but is worth every penny for the following reasons:
1. Baby can face you by swinging the handlebar over - great if it's sunny and you need to check if the sun's hitting them, when baby's very young and you want to keep an eye on them, when they need reassurance and want to see you, or when they're sleeping.
2. The seat lies flat and the footed cover zips up to be just like a carriage (but without the weight) - it helps keep the sun off, protects baby in the cold, is cosier for very young babies, is comfier and quieter for long naps, and the lie-flat makes the stroller great for impromptu diaper changes.
3. It's only 17lbs and folds up really neatly - we've decided against buying an umbrella stroller, because we just can't see the advantage - we'd save only a few lbs and lose all the features of our regular stroller. The only other full-feature stroller we found like this was literally twice the weight at 34lbs and huge when folded.
4. The front bumper bar comes off - great if you need to use the stroller for feeding baby in.

To be fair, there are a few small flaws:
1. The black sable fabric has worn slightly in places such as on the hood rim and at the edge of the seat, where it gets a lot of abrasion (during folding or in transit in the car).
2. With the baby facing you, it's difficult to get the stroller up a step - you have to put your foot on the footrest for added leverage (not a problem when forward-facing).
3. The car seat to match doesn't last very long (approx 6mths).
4. It doesn't have a self-latch closure when folding (you have to pull 2 clips onto posts to latch it closed) or a cup holder for mom. ((Note: As a car owner, I have never needed to fold my stroller one-handed, although a lot of strollers advertise their one-hand fold mechanism as a huge selling feature!))

Overall, I wouldn't swap my stroller for the world and would heartily recommend it to anyone. It was well worth the money, and this purchase was my "Best Buy" out of everything I bought for my daughter.

Summary: We are so pleased with this stroller! 2003-11-14
Comment: My husband and I are so pleased with this stroller for several reasons. I'll just have to agree with the positive review of "rebelzeta from Tennessee."

Additional reasons we love this stroller:
1. We just love the way it handles and folds with ease
2. The cover is great to protect your baby from the sun, wind or rain with use of Perego car seat
3. Reversible handle bar so your baby can see you and you can avoid the sun hitting your baby's eyes
4. Reclines straight for baby to sleep on plus the BIG bonus is that you can use it as a diaper changer. As many parents know that it's hard to find changing tables in restaurants, malls, etc. that's clean or it's just not available. So reclining the seat back helped us on many occasions especially during a diaper emergency change. Even my sisters had to use ours when they needed to change their baby's diapers.
5. It's a transformer kind of stroller that can be used in so many ways

It's worth the money and with the great Italian quality, you can use it for the next baby.
