Summary: Undependable and frustrating to use 2008-06-27
Comment: I was optimistic when I purchased this bottle warmer. At first, it seemed frustrating to use, but I kept trying. The buttons on the front took some time to figure out - not user friendly enough where you could have someone use the warmer without instructions, which I found absurd for a seemingly simple appliance item. Once I read the instructions and learned what the symbols meant, it was equally difficult to get it to work. Once I DID get it to work (be sure to snap close and add the proper amounts of water - this varies depending on the day) the warmer would then just go on the fritz and stop working. I am so aggravated with it, I want to just toss the whole thing and buy a different warmer. Warming baby bottles shouldn't be such a frustrating task when you're in the midst of taking care of your infant and thinking about other more important things. Do yourself a favor and avoid this warmer.

Summary: Could be better. 2008-06-21
Comment: This bottle warmer doesn't do a great job. But it does get the milk close to the temperature I want so it isn't horrible. I would expect it to do much better considering how much it is. I like that it has auto-off, so if I am too busy and forget to turn it off it is no big deal. It fits all kinds of bottles. I have even warmed my medula breast milk bags in it and it worked fine. Its faster than putting it under some water in the sink! If I had it to do over again I wouldn't buy it. I would get one of the cheap ones.

Summary: Very poor item 2008-06-03
Comment: The warmer worked well on the very 1st use and got worse and worse, by the end of the day it was already not working at all. A piece of junk.
My husband bought it and I thought he had paid about $30 for it. Later, I realized he paid $69 at Bigelow's Chemist and was highly recommended by the salesman there. It is really a piece of junk for that amount of money. Unfortunately, I threw out the box and cannot return it.
Contrary to the name, this product has no IQ. Don't buy it.

Summary: worth the investment 2008-04-21
Comment: As parents of a newborn who gets hungry and cries very suddenly when he's hungry, we recommend this bottle warmer. We have used the 4 oz and 9 oz Avent bottles and the 8 oz Born Free (plastic) bottles successfully in the warmer. There is a top flap that opens and does not close tightly when using Avent 11 oz or the Born Free 9 oz bottles. This makes the time estimates a little off. We've learned to adapt by adding an ounce or two to the size selection feature.
The button selections are a little annoying to get used to. Avent uses as few buttons as possible for multiple functions by holding it down or pressing quickly. This can be annoying in the middle of the night, but once you're used to it, it's not so bad.
Before using this, we were warming bottles from the fridge using a container of hot tap water. This is so much faster and makes our baby so much happier. It is much easier to feed him when he hasn't worked himself up while waiting too long for a bottle.
Amazon's price was $15 lower than the popular baby stores in our area.
