Summary: So much easier than other options! 2008-10-13
Comment: What to use in the tub when your little one outgrows the plastic sit-in tub and is not stable enough to sit up on their own? Definitely this one! It is exactly like a Boppy seat but for your tub which works great when you need to lean over to wash baby because they stay nice and secure in the seat. Just lean them back and get them comfortable and you are able to wash hair without having to hold their little heads above water - a balancing trick every Mom has tried and thought - there must be something better - this is it! It has a built in hanger so when bath time is done just hang it up in the shower to drip dry and you will be set everytime.

Summary: It's okay. 2008-08-27
Comment: It's not a bad product and it works pretty well for us. We bought it initially because my big baby was too large for her baby bathtub but too young to sit up on her own. It filled the developmental gap nicely. It does slip out from the baby so it needs constant readjustment but that's not really a big deal. It's safer than traditional baby bath chairs as there are no pieces to get stuck in or under. My baby loves to lean back on it and relax in the water. My only real complaint is that the stuffing bunches in the wash. All in all, however, it has done a decent job.

Summary: Not impressed 2007-07-15
Comment: This pillow is like a boppy for the bath and it does dry out nicely. However, my daughter is 7 months old and can sit up fine on her own but the pillow tends to make her slide down and it does not keep her upright if she leans forward. Also, it is very difficult to wash the lower half of her body as it is consumed by the pillow. I would return it if I could and find something that provided better support.

Summary: Such a great bathtub helper 2007-06-25
Comment: I needed a new way to bathe my son once he outgrew his newborn tub. He could sit unsupported but I didn't feel comfortable using the big tub without some help. I bought this after reading some reviews of other seats. To me, this is just a bathtime boppy. Same shape and it works great. It sucks up water to weigh it down and it doesn't slide around in the tub like I thought it would. Baby can lay on his tummy in the tub to play with toys. I use is mostly to wash his lower 1/2. You still have to watch them of course because as they move, splash, kick, etc, their heads slowly slide down the boppy and into the water.

Summary: You must add this to your baby registry! 2007-01-23
Comment: I got the Safe Bather over a year ago with my first son and am due with my second son and will be getting another for him. I used it in the sink when my son was an infant and then moved it into the tub as he grew. He NEVER cried when I bathed him and seemed very comfortable. It holds in the warm water too. As he got older he sat on it and I would just lay him down to wash his lower half. I never had any problems with it or any smell issues. It machined washed and tumbled dried easily. After each use I would ring out as much water as I could and just hang it up on the curtain rod and let it drip dry. I would recommend it to anyone!
