Summary: We Love this seat!!! 2008-08-02
Comment: I am so glad I bought this seat! I was skeptical of some of the previous reviews, but when it came, we are very pleased! He is a tall two and has plenty of room and the straps are tricky at times, but I know he is safe. We will have it for years to come and I highly recommend this seat!

Summary: Apex 65 Booster Car Seat 2008-07-10
Comment: I think that this is probably the best seat for the money. I was looking to be able to keep my daughter in a five point harness as long as possible and she had outgrown her seat that could harness up to 40 pounds. I found some seats out there that harness up to 85 pounds, but just didn't have the money to spend $400 on one. So, I found this seat at a reasonable price and was able to feel good about harnessing her up to 65 pounds. It's easy to use, very comfy and my daughter just loves it.

Summary: Great Seat for 3 yr old. 2008-06-19
Comment: Great seat for my 3 yr old. His younger brother had to get his seat, so this seat will be great. I love the fact that he can be in the 5 point harness up to 60lbs. the safer the better.
The cup holder is pretty low, my son cannot reach it.
Love the Safety First seat, which is comparible to his other seat of Alpha Omega Elite.

Summary: OK, but I'm hoping for better 2008-06-04
Comment: I got this for my 4 yr old, with the desire to keep her in a 5-point as long as possible. I give it 3 stars for the fact that it does that, but it does have enough problems that I'm going to try the Graco Nautilus for our other car. The crotch strap is way too short, and the longer one they sent (for free without any problems at all) did not seem a whole lot longer. The buckle seems very uncomfortable. Also, I had read complaints about twisiting straps but didn't really believe that could be a very big deal. It is. The strap material feels very thin and I have to untwist it pretty much every time my daughter gets in. Safe, but like I said, I'm hoping for better with the Nautilus.

Summary: Wanted to like it... 2008-05-29
Comment: We were ready to move our 5 year old into a booster and wanted a 5 pt system. We liked the Apex and bought one to use in our minivan. Since my husband has a company car, we moved it into his car for the weekend. I like the height and my daughter says it is comfortable. However, I got it in the minivan w/ the LATCH system and it was tight. When we moved it to the car, it wasn't as tight. We used the LATCH and the tether. It seems to move around side to side a lot. My husband moved it back into the minivan and he decided he doesn't like the seat. He feels that since you can only tighten the LATCH straps on one side that it just isn't tight.
We will return this and will probably try the Graco Nautilus.
