In a world full of adult-sized chairs, babies and toddlers sometimes need a little help getting comfortable at the table. Serving that purpose quite nicely, this Fold Up Booster Seat can also double as a sturdy play chair for little ones. The brightly colored seat is lightweight and small enough to take with you to restaurants, or on social visits when you don't have enough room for a highchair in the car. Setup time is very quick: just attach the seat base to the frame and snap on the wide food tray. The tray has a high rim to prevent spills during mealtime, and a completely flat surface to accommodate coloring books, blocks, and other toys during playtime. Slip-resistant pads and two sets of adjustable safety straps (one that loops under the seat itself and one that latches around the seat back) keep the seat securely in place when it is being used as a booster seat on top of another chair. The seat is also outfitted with a basic three-point harness that will help keep your baby or toddler in place when they are seated at the table. The seat is not padded, which makes it very easy to keep clean, but not very comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. --Chris Burns

Summary: Here's the deal... 2006-10-02
Comment: I gave this 3 stars because if you are only using it on the go, it works. However, if using it at home it is quite a pain. Like others have said food gets stuck in all the cracks. And even worse it goes through to the chair. Once we had people over and we needed an extra chair. We popped it off only to embarassingly discover food underneath it. So if you want to remove it every time to clean then go for it, but I'd rather spend my time with my son!

Comment: I bought this little chair for my granddaughter and we both love it!
She is out of it now! But her dolls are usign it. I loved tht the
security straps were royal blue instead of the white straps that are only
white for a very short period of time...it cleans up much easier then
most highchairs...comes all apart so it can be washed like a dish. It is
light weight so handles easy and is great for restaurant use. The tray
was tricky at first but a couple of drops of salad oil fixed that right
up. AND the price was right!...we are on fixed incomes so can't afford
the high priced soon-to-grow-out-of equiptment. At first the chair seemed to be flimsy but once we learned how to properly secure it to a
chair (and it fits any chair we have used it on)it was fine. One would
not leave a child unattended in it but then one should never leave a
child unattended anytime. I have not used other booster chairs but I have used other portable chairs designed for restuarants and I really preferred this one.

Comment: My reason for purchasing a booster chair is because it is a space saver in my small kitchen (as compared to my 16 month old daughter's high chair). I have only used this one for 1.5 weeks so far, but I find it to be quite efficient. It's very basic, but serves its purpose. My daughter seems to be comfortable with in it. I either use the tray or push her up to the dinner table next to me. I have not used it on the go yet so I can't speak on that aspect of it. However, I think it's pretty much worth its price.

Summary: Sorta liked it until I tried the FP booster 2006-07-16
Comment: The "small compact straps to chair" element is a plus, but after comparing this to the Fisher Price booster, there's just no going back. This flops all over the place when it is "folded" and has many nooks and crannies where food gets lodged, and where, if you just put it in the sink to hose it down, water will get stuck. The straps fall off every time you wash the seat down, and the tray is difficult to get on and off quickly. Just can't stand the thing, really, not after trying a *real* portable high chair.

Summary: Horrible seat! 2005-09-20
Comment: I bought this seat for my 11 month old. Food got stuck in every little crack on the chair, and she was too big for it. The tray doesn't adjust, and it cut into my daughter's stomach.
This chair seriously sucks. Don't even waste your money.
I took it back and bought the Fisher Price booster. It's so much better than this POS.
I had to give it one star. I wanted to give it zero, but, apparently that's not an option.
