Product Description

This full-size tub fits easily in most sinks and folds to half-size when not in use, making it the perfect tub for storing or taking on the go. Features a supportive backrest with a slip-resistant pad for added comfort and safety. There's also a built-in water basin for bath time essentials or a fresh water rinse, as well as an easy-release drain plug.
Editorial Review

Bathing baby at home or away is easy with this small, portable tub that fits securely onto a countertop or in a sink, and then folds in half for easy storage. This contoured tub with a slip- and mildew-resistant foam liner is comfortable, sanitary, and features a built-in storage compartment for bathing necessities. A carry handle and an easy-release drain plug make cleanup a snap. And best of all, it stores in half the space of a conventional infant tub. --Deb Oroszlan

Summary: Terrible! 2007-09-04
Comment: I bought this tub before my son was born, thinking it looked great and I could use it in the kitchen sink. I do like that I can use it in the sink, but he's not a super long baby and his little feet always get stuck in the grooves where the tub folds! It doesn't hold much water, either. I wish I had read reviews before I bought it, because now, after only 2 months, I'm just going to replace it and throw it away. What a waste!

Summary: Compact and Easy to Use 2005-12-12
Comment: We used this tub with our second daughter from the time she was a newborn, until she was just over five months old. She was a HUGE baby, so she outgrew it a little soon. Although I agree with the other reviews that say this tub is too slippery, this really isn't a problem if you are right there with a hand on the baby. As for the tub being too shallow...yes, but again, this isn't a big problem. Even with a big baby, if you bathe her/him in warm water, and don't take forever about it, the baby will remain just fine in terms of both temperature and comfort. Our baby wasn't exactly lacking "natural insulation/padding" anyways!!

In terms of size, this tub is wonderful. Folded, it fit very nicely under our kitchen sink with room to spare. I good thing, since we are living in military housing and space is getting pretty tight with two children now.

Bottom line...you will run into "flaws" with any baby tub you buy. This one, in my opinion, has "forgivable flaws." The compact size, durability and great price more than make up for minor inadequacies. All in all, this is a good tub at a really great price.

Summary: Idea Nice -- Tub Too Small 2005-11-15
Comment: This is what I used with my first daughter who is now 7. I saved it in our attic and didn't register for another tub because I thought this was my favorite tub. The truth is I loved it because it folded up. I didn't want a big bath tub in my bathroom.

It turns out this bathtub was too small for her (forget exactly at what month) and I had to go out and buy one of those big bathtubs I dreaded seeing in my bathroom. I purchased the Eurotub.

We have a big counter in our bathroom so the Eurotub was truly the best choice for us because we can bathe her in it until she's 2 years of age.

If you're planning to use the fold up tub short term then it's ok, but not for the long term.

Summary: Cold toes!! 2005-11-11
Comment: We bought this tub because the cloth one we had before got a musty smell to it if you didn't machiene wash it after every bath. We liked the ease of cleaning this tub, and how it folds up to store nicely. I didn't experience any problems with leaking, (only with splashing, as my daughter likes to waive her arms in the tub). On the downside, my daughter is only 8 weeks old and 24 inches long.. her legs drape up and over the tub and her feet are FREEZING during bathtime eventhough we keep a heater blowing on us the whole time. As she has gotten stronger, she will bend her knees and get her legs inside the tub where she quickly pushes off the upslope and nealy catapolts herself from the tub. She has more than once ended up hitting the hard plastic sides with her face when she turns her head to look around, despite the fact that I always have a hand on her.
I guess, bottom line the tub is OK for the money and for small, lethargic babies with genetically warm feet.
