Summary: Worked for us 2008-03-18
Comment: I feel bad that this tub has had safety issues for some. For us, it was extremely helpful. My small newborn fit fine without slipping, and after my c-section (and subsequent back issues), it was helpful to be able to stand at the kitchen sink to bathe him. He was a fussy guy who hated baths, so rather than filling the tub, I left the drain open and essentially gave him sponge baths. I was also grateful for the fold-up feature which allowed me to keep the tub in our small kitchen.

Summary: Never used it, not for newborn 2007-11-11
Comment: Hmmm... thre's no way our newborn could stay safe in this, there's not support. Another baby product gone unused.

Summary: Small, compact 2007-03-27
Comment: I used this tub for my first born. This is small and holds very little water, therefore, the water gets cold fast! Also, there are holes where the tub folds up so the water spills out of the holes as the baby moves. It can be messy if you are giving your baby a bath on the floor as I did.

Our baby would stick her foot and leg out of the tub because it's so small...when I used larger tub, that didn't happen.

One positive thing that I can say about this product is that it's compact...I kept it at my mother's house and it didn't take up much space.

I would recommend spending an extra $10 to $15 and buy a higher quality tub.

Summary: Terrible Tub 2007-01-22
Comment: This tub is a waste of money. I bought it this evening and I'm returning the tub first thing tomorrow morning. Water leaks at the hinges creating a mess and a slippery, unsafe floor.

Very unsatisfied with this product.

Summary: Convenient for Mom -- Uncomfortable for Baby 2006-12-11
Comment: For our first baby, we were determined to stay away from the lure of cute but unnecessarily expensive baby items. This was one of the few items we did not research and we purchased this tub thinking any tub would work. We were wrong.

The tub is too slippery which causes his head to endlessly roll back and forth into the corners. The slant of the tub is also meant for a larger baby which causes his head to dig into his chin which he hates. Bathtime is about bonding, so after a month and a half of fighting, we ended up taking our baths together. My son prefered the skin to skin contact anyways.
The tub is also a poor fit for any oval sink bathroom, and the one time I put it in the kitchen sink I filled it with water and it buckled. Never tried it again. If you want to wash your baby in the sink, get a foam sponge or a bath support specifically made for newborns.

Even for 12 dollars I would not buy this tub again. Granted it might work for some, but if you have a fussy or even mildly fussy baby I would not recommend this tub.
