All-Natural Natural Comfort for Your Child
Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers are made with your baby and your environment in mind. The chlorine-free materials and absorbent polymers used in the diapers help keep your baby dry in between changes and through the night. In addition to being effective at keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, studies show that the absorbent polymer used in the diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin.

Hypo-allergenic and offering soft, cloth-like comfort and premium absorbency, these diapers are made of chlorine-free absorbent materials that do not contribute to dioxin pollution. They feature super-stretchy resealable closure tabs and super-stretchy leg gathers that work to provide your baby with a comfortable, safe, close-fitting thin diaper.

Why Does Chlorine-Free Matter?
Your choice of our chlorine free diapers could help reduce cancer rates. Your choice of chlorine-free diapers helps reduce the amount of dioxin polluting our air, water and soil, and helps make the world a safer, healthier place for your family and generations to come.

When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment.

If every household in the U.S. replaced just one 40-count package of conventional diapers with these chlorine-free diapers, we could avoid 133,000 pounds of pollution from entering the environment.

Seventh Generation products are healthy and safe for the air, the surfaces, the pets, and the people in your home--and for the environment outside of it. Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

Summary: If you love doing laundry this is the diaper for you 2008-07-10
Comment: The worst diaper I have ever used and I have used plenty of different ones. I thought it would be nice to try a more eco-friendly product. But what a HUGE mistake. This diaper leaks constantly. Yesterday alone, I had to change my baby's clothes 7 times. So if your baby is not sensitive to chlorine and can use other diapers this is not the one for you - unless you love doing laundry and/or seeing your baby in many different outfits throughout the day.

Summary: Wonderful diaper - no leaks! 2008-06-29
Comment: We switched to Seventh Generation diapers when my little guy started having trouble with eczema on his bum. We are loving Seventh Generation diapers - all signs of eczema are gone! We have no trouble at all with leaks, and it's wonderful to know that there's no harmful chlorine on our babies' skin. I love that they're not branded (I can't stand Elmo, Disney etc. It's so kitsch!) and they have done a great job in keepingour 7 months old baby drier overnight. I highly recommend these! Just make sure you have the right fit, and that they're on right (not folded under at the legs etc) and you should be all set.

Summary: yes - leak problems 2008-05-13
Comment: Yes - another confirmation of the leak problem by someone who really wanted these to be good. Washing tons of extra outfits/sheets, etc. per day negates the environmental benefits - not to mention that we now have several packs of diapers that we simply won't be able to use. Did not do the trick for our 6 lb. newborn (and we are experienced diaperers.)

Summary: Helped reduce diaper rashes 2008-05-13
Comment: My baby's skin is ultra-sensitive and she developed diaper rashes within a week's time she was born. We tried Pampers/Huggies and used Desitin cream as well and still it would'nt go away. Finally I switched to Seventh Generation and it did the miracle. The diaper rash has quickly healed and I am immensely happy for getting this diaper.

The only negative comment would be that, the newborn diaper is supposed to fit babies under 10 lbs, but it does not. My baby is under 7 lbs and still this diaper is already tight and leaves marks on her thighs.

Summary: We use them because we have to... 2008-05-12
Comment: After many moons of trying to figure out why our daughter was almost constantly scratching around her waist, our pediatrician told us that she may have a mild latex allergy (we had her tested, she wasn't). We tried many different things to try to relieve our daughter but to no avail. Out of desperation, we changed the diapers on an off-shot that it was something in the diaper. Turns out that it was chlorine (we think!), and these diapers fixed the problem and she hasn't scratched since! She is now wearing size 6.

As for other people with issues with the fit, I have to admit that they don't fit the absolute best, and I don't think they "hold" as much as some of the major market stuff, but in the 2 years she's worn the brand, there have not been that many leaks, either stool or urine wise. That isn't to say it doesn't happen, but it happened with the pampers we were using before as well.
