Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS COMBO 2008-06-25
Comment: We purchased this combo hutch for $119...Great Deal, right? After receiving the Hutch about a week after ordering we called to see where the bottom chest was. At this point Amazon told us that they were mailed in two separate packages and we should receive it within a few days. Well, finally after almost another full week our package came. Another top HUTCH!!!! When we contacted Amazon, they told us that they only carry the top piece and cannot give us what we paid for.... Although the customer service was polite and refunded the order, I now have a top hutch piece that only fits onto a specific chest. The least expensive you can find that chest is $219.00.... So now I will be paying double for what I received.... Amazon should not sell this if they can't fulfill the orders!!!!

Comment: We purchased this to go on top of the Beatrice dresser/changing station for my son. It's beautiful. Yes, it does need to be assembled, but we didn't have any trouble with that. My husband was able to do it all by himself and he's not mechanically inclined at all.
The wood finish is very smooth and beautiful. We liked it so much, we purchased another one for our second son's room.

Comment: We purchased this to go on top of the Beatrice dresser/changing station for my son. It's beautiful. Yes, it does need to be assembled, but we didn't have any trouble with that. My husband was able to do it all by himself and he's not mechanically inclined at all.

Summary: The big mix up 2008-01-01
Comment: I bought this product thinking I was getting a dresser with a top shelf. When it came in I took it out of the box and started to assemble it. turned out to be just the top. I checked back to get the base /dresser and the price of it was outrageous. I was or wanted to return it but the packing was torn up so bad comeing to me. I just dident have time for all that. So I cut it off at the botton to even it up and hung it on the wall in my grandurter's room.

Comment: I bought this thinking I was going to receive everything pictured. This is the first and last time I made this mistake. Not wanting to deal with sending it back and all the hassle, I bought the dresser part from another site to complete the package.
As a set I am in love with everything. It's good quality, made of both wood and ply wood. Extremely sturdy. I noticed the finish is quite delicate, It doesn't take much to scratch it. but it's still very beautiful. I imagine this being in my family for a long time. (^_^)
