Summary: FABULOUS car seat - incredibly easy to install 2008-06-05
Comment: My husband and I have an older car that does not have the latch system for car seats. So any car seat we buy had to be strapped in using the belts. When we first bought this seat car seat we thought it was a bit difficult to install, but not hard. Now, after installing a different (supposedly comparable) car seat in my parents car, I think we have an incredibly easy car seat to install! The directions for installation are clear and comprehensible. the few times we moved the car seat to a rental or my parents car and utilized the latch system I couldn't believe how much easier it was than the latch system we bought for my parents car, thread through the bottom and snap in the latches... you're done! I also researched safety reviews and the Radian went beyond the requirements for safety - SOLD. It is quite heavy, but since it folds up and tucks away into a duffle bag or duffle/backpack - it's easier to travel with.

Comment: I bought this product after reading other user's reviews...I haven't used it yet but putting it together and using it have proven to be quite a pain. I hope it turns out to be worth it. Also, it seems like it might be too large for a newborn by just looking at it.

Summary: Love this carseat! 2007-10-22
Comment: I did lots of research on carseats prior to buying the Radian and this was by far my favorite. I have the Pink Princess version. This seat is so easy to install. I love the support cushions that come with this model. We used both pieces with my daughter as a newborn and now at 10months she uses just the bottom piece. It just makes for a more comfy ride and more secure fit.
The size of this seat is also a bonus. I can actually sit next to my daughters carseat in our car unlike so many other brands. Or even put 3 of them across my backseat.
And last the safety ratings on this seat were a huge selling point for me. I love that it has a steel frame and is airline approved.

Summary: Thrilled with this seat 2007-08-21
Comment: This carseat was pretty new on the market when I bought it, so I was a beat leery, but I have been thrilled with it. It fits great in my Honda Civic, my daughter is very comfortable in it, it transfers easily, and it folds for portability. Along with the carrying case (sold separately), which works like a backpack, I made it through 3 airports with my daughter, her carseat, her stroller, her diaper bag, and no help. It even worked fabulously in the airplane. Just as safe as the Britax models, lasts as long as they do, but not as expensive. How can you beat that?
