Summary: Ok if you buy it @ BabiesRUs 2008-08-20
Comment: The item is OK as an organizer (I use it with Medela bags), however at BabiesRUs it costs $16.99, whereas at the time of a review Amazon offers it for $23.75 on sale(!). Considering additional shipping cost, the difference definitely is not worth the convenience of the front door delivery..

Summary: Great way to keep track of milk 2008-08-10
Comment: Due to extenuating circumstances, I exclusively pumped and fed my baby breast milk from a bottle. I used this storage system several times per day with the Lansinoh bags -- a combination that worked very well for me and my baby. This box allowed me to keep the milk in order by date and time so that I was always using the oldest first. (The Lansinoh bags fit well, and I recommend them too) It kept the milk confined to a small, organized space in the refrigerator and the springloaded backing kept everything standing up and easily visible. I was able to store up to 20+ bags of 5 oz each at any given time. I finally did begin freezing the milk, but chose to freeze it on a cookie sheet and then store it rather than freezing it standing up. It seemed to freeze faster this way.
I liked the fact that the storage system is discreet. It looks like a plastic storage box in the refrigerator; it doesn't scream "LOOK here's breast milk" and make others potentially uncomfortable.
I considered using the bottle rack storage system because it felt as if I was creating a lot of waste, but the reasons I stuck with bags were that this system was easy but more importantly, warming milk in hot tap water is much easier and faster in bags (where there is more surface area) than in bottles and when your baby is crying because he is hungry, quicker is better.

Summary: LOVE THIS SYSTEM!!! 2008-07-23
Comment: This storage system worked out great for me. I just rotated the bags when I pumped so I always knew I could just grab the first bag and go. They fit perfectly on my fridge shelf and I felt comfortable knowing my bags of milk were stored and safe instead of just laying in the shelf. I love this system. It is simple and easy to use. Plus all milk storage bags fit in it.

Summary: Great Product. 2008-06-15
Comment: This organizer worked really well for me. I was able to store more milk for when I returned to work. I would recommend this product to any nursing mother, who is going to return to work and still wants to feed their baby breast milk.

Summary: Doesn't fit Lansinoh bags 2008-06-15
Comment: I thought I had found a great way to store frozen milk. However, I use Lansinoh bags (the best in my opinion) and they are slightly too wide for this storage unit. I would have had to store the bags (that I had previously frozen flat) at an angle in this organizer. I returned the organizer rather than do this as I was afraid of tearing the seams of my bags, and losing the milk upon thawing. I wish this product were a little bit wider! I'm still looking for a storage solution, I'll try the ice cube bins as suggested by another reviewer.
