Summary: Not recommended by this Lactation Consultant 2008-07-23
Comment: I would not recommend using this product as it contains 3 types of oils that I do not feel comfortable giving to a baby. Yes, lanolin is safe, but it is not even the first ingredient listed. I would recommend plain, 100% lanolin instead. I am a IBCLC

Summary: Lanolin spray! 2008-07-12
Comment: Throughout nursing I had been using medela, lansinoh, and mustela nipple creams. The medela and lansinoh worked well but were very thick and hard to spread which was not the easiest thing to use on sore nipples. The mustela cream was lighter and more comforting but still wasn't that great to use on sore nipples. After nursing my boy (who now has 4 teeth and was very much teething) all day I tried putting on one of my creams and they killed. We went to Target and my husband pointed out this spray to me. I didn't think it was going to work. I thought it wasn't thick enough, but I got it anyway. I tried it when I got home. I sprayed each nipple a few times. The next day my nipples felt significantly better. I highly recommend this product to anyone, especially those with sore nipples. No more tugging!
